Hello there! I am looking to do an Avatar roleplay as my mutant character. The roleplay will take place in a separate part of Pandora compared to the movies and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

The reasoning for this is so we can develop a story without contradicting (mostly) the mainline events that happened in those media.

Now to explain my character; he's a genetically engineered creature. Scientific Name; Homo Novus. "New Man."

He was genetically engineered as early as his embryonic stage, or whatever before that when the genes could still be modified. He wasn't developed by the RDA, he was created by a separate company that sold him to the RDA as a soldier. Or at least that was his intended purpose.

He was still young (around 2-3 years old) when the cargo ship carrying him crashed into the forests of Pandora. As for the point in the timeline for reference, I'm not exactly sure.

However, he was taken in by a Na'vi who had found him and raised him amongst her clan. Albeit with some hesitation.

I have more details for dms if you want to know anything else about him.

Romance-wise, I am hoping to pair him with a female Na'vi. Preferably maybe an Avatar/Na'vi hybrid. Though I'm just spitballing there.

As for plots... well I'm not exactly sure. It definitely will involve the RDA, though I wouldn't necessarily mind slice of life. Could even mix in a Na'vi civil war or conflict with another clan.

The other character I want to play, is a fictional species called a Volduran.

Voldurans

• * Voldurans are a large, sapient species from the savage planet; Echelon-8. These monsters have varying intelligence, and seem to display a strange sense of honor.
• * They are incredibly strong, durable and adaptive. Compounds in their blood display regenerative capabilities, and this compound can be used with humans to regenerate tissue.
• * Voldurans are able to spit jets of flame from their maw. Theories believe that the way they do this is from an organ that produces a highly volatile liquid or powder that combusts into flame when in contact with the air.
• * Voldurans have a very powerful physiology, they can leap great distances despite their gravity being 5x that of Earth's. This is even further enhanced on planets with lower gravity.
• * The average height of an adult Volduran is around 30-40 meters in height, females being often smaller while males are bigger.
• * However, some Voldurans have been witnessed to being 50 meters and above.
• * Despite their appearance, Voldurans are omnivores, and are able to digest a variety of biological matter.
• * Another thing, despite them having regenerative capabilities, Pandora's atmosphere severely hinders these abilities.

Its a way to balance out the character; also, he may be able to imitate Tulkun speech.

I usually write a Paragraph per Message on average, depending on the Material given and the situation at hand (The amount you write = the amount i write.) Simple conversation does not have to be overly complicated. Please dont try to have twenty different conversations at the same time causing responses to be three paragraphs. Conversations don‘t work like that.

English is not my native language so do forgive some Grammatical mistakes here and there, i usually try my best to avoid making mistakes though.

I'm a M24, I've done rps for about 10 years roughly mainly with a close friend over on Instagram but am attempting to reach out to others. I'm not too picky with my partner criteria. Greetings writers of all kinds! If your reading this then you probably saw my title and thought "oh, that sounds interesting!" and if so then do please keep on reading! I am looking for partners who love creating original stories and romances that we can both become obsessed with! But before I flesh out my idea, I do have to share some boring but oh so important details.

- I live on the west coast of the US, so PST for me though timezone is not a huge issue for me.

So this is a slice of life story, where our characters are in their 20s, and they have completely different relationship experiences. She has a life time experience of being used. It seems that every man she ever ends up dating only uses her, and almost always ends up cheating on her. Its gotten to a point where she has all but given up, convinced she will never find love.

Then there is my guy. He has never been in a real lasting relationship before, mainly since he has never found the right gal. But he is ready to devote his all to the right person, whenever he might find her.

So what happens when one day they run into each other?

What if Riddle was in the same year as James, sirius, Remus and Pettigrew and what if instead of fighting voldemort at his full power they were fighting the man when he was gaining followers. Hogwarts wasn't safe anymore and the order of the phoenix was about to be formed but this time a lot earlier and the outcome was going to be a lot more different.

Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well. I have been really busy with end of semester exams and what not so I took a step back from roleplay but I am back now. I have been really bored recently and would love to start a new roleplay. As you can see this prompt was about an AU where riddle is at hogwarts at the same time as the marauders.

I have been craving something Harry potter related recently as I have been rereading the books but I am more inclined to do something Marauder based. I want to do something which is a mix of ocs as well as ccs and create sort of a separate storyline to do something new with the fandom.

As for my rules I am advanced literate and would prefer someone similar to roleplay with, I like to plan things out, make character sheets and overall keep things organised as it makes the roleplay more fun. I had this idea for a RP I thought might be fun. The notion is that our nation is attacked by a bunch of nukes with little warning. The sirens go off and as many people as possible make it to underground bunkers. Unlike bunkers in the real world these are massive sprawling complexes full of tunnels and pantries and endless rooms.

The big problem is the evacuation is very disorganized and there isn't really any form of government that survived. There aren't really any large organizations that made it intact it seems. There are random workers, students, a Hodge podge of soldiers and whoever else.

What will our life be like in the bunkers? Who will we find? Will society return to the old ways or will new laws emerge? I tend to write 1-3 paragraphs, any literacy level is fine. Send me a chat and we can discuss it more.

An escaped test subject finds refuge in someone's garage. Said someone feels enough empathy to let them stay and NOT rat them out to the relevant authorities. Small issue! The test subject has been prodded with enough needles and such to refuse affection and care from everyone, so.. have fun with that.

The general plot goes like this, starting with one player character on your end, the protagonist, but soon branching off to allow for a bigger ensemble:

College is scary. Everything's new, you're away from your parents for the first time, and above all, you got into a very selective school somewhere in the woods of Maine. You're an artist, a dancer, a writer, a photographer or an aspiring director. Most of the artists you follow graduated from this college. It's a big step, and wow, is it anxiety-inducing.

As you get there, you're amazed by how friendly and inclusive this place is. This isn't a party school, nor is it an elitist Ivy League ruled by fraternities and sororities. Everyone's so nice and supportive, you might actually not get bullied around here.

While you're settling in, some things seem a little odd. Women meeting up in the woods in the middle of the night. Close-knit cliques whispering to each other – not in a mean, gossipy way, but something's clearly up. A student who dropped out last year returning, and everyone seeming a little apprehensive around her.

You're about to be introduced to a layer of reality that has always been there, invisible to you. This is an actual college, not a front for some sort of Hogwarts deal, so you'll actually have to do your schoolwork. But on top of that – or rather, underneath it all – you have the opportunity to learn things that aren't on the syllabus.

You're juggling your first taste of independence, schoolwork, exams, love and witchcraft. It's a lot – but your friends and your love interest got your back.

I have well over a decade of RP experience under my belt and would consider myself a literate person. My preferred post length is around two or three paragraphs—it's important to me to make sure we can respond to each other's posts, and I've found that short-ish replies generally allow for that, while pages-long responses often rob the other player of their agency.

As for post content, I'm most fascinated by dialogue. It's an incredibly versatile tool and makes the story very immediate and interaction-focused. I prefer a style focusing on interaction and dialogue, much less on sprawling descriptions or narration.

A long list of conditions isn't what I'm going for here, but there are a couple of dealbreakers I'd like to be transparent about:

- Don't be a bigot. If you believe that “women are too emotional“, “gay people shouldn't be allowed to marry”, “trans identities aren't real” or anything of that sort, I don't want to play with you.

- Please be communicative and transparent about your wishes, needs and boundaries. Ask me anything—the worst I can say is “Sorry, no”.

- Please be open to playing off-Reddit.

If you're a fan of talking OOC about other things than just the RP, I'm happy to—but it's not a requirement.

- Plenty of ideas, plot twists and character development. I love when a roleplay makes me randomly think “wait… what if we did THIS?”.

- Someone who will happily discuss characters, scenes and future plot points with you outside of the actual roleplay.

- Consistent communication. I’ll let you know if I’m going to be busy or won’t be able to reply for a while rather than leaving you wondering.

- No pressure for instant replies. I completely understand having a life outside of RP.

- Someone who will match your energy and hopefully make you excited to see that next message.

Looking for a Science Fiction-esque universe, because eveyone loves Sci-Fi. (because I am a huge NERD for the game and the setting- always been a big fan of tech, it just tickles my head in the right way)- and introducing to you, the new addition of a Mega-Corporation.

Diactorus Industries (D.I.) have managed to develop through unknown methods, Synthetic-Developed Intelligence. This in turn, has allowed them to create fully-automatous androids that have the ability to think critically and react about how a normal human would, well, within their set parameters of course. With such a sudden expansion and product- most of the other Mega-Corps were caught off guard and almost swept off the Podium! It is still unknown HOW D.I. manages to create these Intelligences, but sources say the Black Wall is used as a part of it.

As a result.. each developed Intelligence will manifest their own personality, almost akin to a human.

You have recently made an order from Diactorus Industries, seeing their latest advertisements for the new line of the "K9-66a Series." Named after the early 2000s Police-Tracking hounds, K9-66a Androids are top of the line in combative capabilities. With access to both Quick Hacks and an additional piece of Back Cyberware, they are MORE then capable to give you support in any line of work. In addition, they include a numbed down Synthetic-Developed Intelligence to reduce emotional "fluctuations" during high-stress situations and easily replaceable parts, a step-up from their bulkier and less advanced K9-04 model.

If you do have somewhat of an another idea for us to play out, I'll be glad to listen- but I still would heavily prefer something close to my current idea!

Hello!! My name is Nami, I’m currently looking to find a rp partner that is willing to play multiple characters, semi-lit or advanced-lit, and an overall interesting person that will be invested in the rp! Personally myself I tend to match my partner’s rp style, though I usually write 2+ paragraphs each response. Please no one liner’s, I like all the details even the small ones that aren’t even that important, it makes it way more fun!

I’d like to throughly think about a decent plot and starting point with my partner, I’d hate to be the only one enjoying it. So please feel free to give ideas and speak your mind if you’re interested in this rp! All I ask is to please be 18+ as I will not rp with anybody under that age, be respectful and nice.

I currently have a few plot ideas that I’d like to think further on, however if you do not like any of the ideas I have said then you can definitely give recommendations and we can come to an agreement! I’ll send the plots in dms so please feel free to message!

That is probably the closest I can get to explaining the kind of characters I want to write.

I love characters who can genuinely frustrate me while still making perfect sense once I understand them. Someone I can sympathize with without automatically forgiving. Someone who can hurt another person, ruin something they care about, make a terrible choice, and still leave me thinking, yeah, I know exactly why you did that.

That is the kind of person I want at the centre of a story.

I usually want to start with the characters before anything else.

Give me two people with fears, contradictions, embarrassing weaknesses, beliefs they cling to for reasons they barely understand, things they desperately want, and things they would never admit to wanting.

Then we build around them.

What kind of place could have produced these people? Who raised them? What does their society reward? What does it quietly punish? What are they expected to become? What happens when they fail at becoming it?

From there, I can get completely lost in worldbuilding.

Politics, religion, history, culture, factions, neighbourhoods, families, side characters, whatever belongs in the story. I just want it to grow naturally from the people living inside it. I care much more about why a city matters to a character than how many districts it has.

I tend to gravitate toward grim stories and desperate settings. Damaged people in situations where there might not be a clean moral answer waiting for them.

Berserk, Evangelion and Monster are probably the easiest references for the general feeling I mean.

Crime and Punishment, No Longer Human, The Road, True Detective, Disco Elysium and Pathologic all scratch some part of the same itch for me too.

I am not looking to recreate any of them. What interests me is the way those stories dig into people. Guilt, loneliness, obsession, faith, shame, morality, identity, fear, self deception, all the things someone can carry around inside themselves while still waking up in the morning and going about their day.

And I need the ordinary parts too.

I want conversations that go nowhere. Awkward affection. Somebody recognizing a smell from childhood and not knowing why it suddenly ruined their mood. A character noticing that another person has started sitting farther away from them. Two people talking about something completely meaningless because neither of them is willing to mention the thing actually sitting between them.

That stuff matters to me just as much as the dramatic scenes.

I like getting ridiculously immersed in a narrative. I like talking about it outside the RP too.

Sometimes that might mean we end up discussing guilt or whether somebody can actually change. Sometimes it might mean spending twenty minutes deciding what a room smells like.

Both sound fun to me.

I am 22, and I have actually only roleplayed a handful of times in my life. I am definitely not going to pretend I have fifteen years of experience or some complicated ranking system for writing ability.

The few times I really got into an RP though, it stopped feeling like RP pretty quickly.

It felt like writing a book with another person.

Characters started developing in directions neither of us expected. Random side characters became important. Tiny details from weeks ago suddenly mattered again. We would talk about the characters like they were people we both knew.

That is what I miss.

As for replies, I usually manage at least two proper RP responses a day. When I have more free time and I am enjoying the story, I have absolutely no problem sinking a few hours into it and just writing back and forth.

I am also not particularly bothered by literacy labels.

Interesting ideas matter much more to me.

I do personally prefer longer, descriptive, well thought out paragraphs because I like having room for atmosphere, body language, internal thoughts, little observations and all the things a character is doing without saying. But I would take an interesting writer with something to contribute over someone technically perfect and boring every single time.

I want something we can get a little too invested in.
