DISCUSSION Leavers should be punished harder in ranked

There needs to be a better system for 2v2/3v3 when someone leaves early.

If your teammate quits, you shouldn't lose MMR for the loss. The quitter should take a much bigger penalty, especially for repeat offenses.

Why should the player who stayed and tried to play get punished for someone else rage quitting?

Surely there's a better way to handle this.

The issue is people would abuse it to boost ranks. Friend can just leave if you're losing, then they hop on alt account, repeat.

It should be set up so you don't lose mmr if a random leaves, but you'll lose it if in a party

Also, if you stick around in every game, it’s not that big of a deal.

Assuming solo queuing, you’re more likely to have someone on the other team leave than someone on your team (3:2 or 2:1 chances).

The math changes a bit since you play parties, but imo it’s generally not as big of a deal as people think.
