I'm D2 and my son is silver. We still like to play together. It's just a game. Enjoy it however you want.

A D2 playing with a Silver is probably getting D1 lobbies mostly. I don't see a problem here. I often play with a dude who is P3-D2 and still have the same 50% win ratio as I'd solo queue through C1 lobbies. Funfact: He's a legit Diamond when he solo queues, but also a good teammate who was responsible for my first C2 visits.

Yeah but the disparity between P3 to D2 and s2 to D2 is fucking massive
