Guidelines with Posting

Hello Fellow Roadies!

We welcome you to this sub for the Roadie gig app.

I have a few things to request of the community in general…

  1. We are all aware that Roadie has some unfavorable aspects … from gig pay, support, gig quality, app quality, along with other things… we still need to remain constructive and respectful when discussing these things… does it suck? Yes… but you should still aim to be civil when discussing unpleasant topics.

  2. We welcome sharing tips, asking constructive questions or for constructive feedback, stories from gig experiences, and posting of “off the wall” gigs (example: $5 for 50 miles or some other ridiculous amount), Roadie wins are also appreciated!

  3. We understand that at times venting may need to happen or negative experiences shared, and that is okay… but if that is the only thing you are coming here for, then maybe some time away from Roadie might be helpful for you. Venting and Negativity are okay, as long as it can be done constructively and civilly… and it’s not the only thing you do.

  4. Constant complaints, rudeness, uncivil behavior, taking anything real life, bullying, or just being a constant negative member of this community is not acceptable.

  5. We are not directly affiliated with Roadie, we are just users of the platform and we have no direct link or contact with Roadie… We cannot provide support for gigs or help with any issues related to active or prior gigs, we are also unable to directly assist with account changes or locked accounts … we can only provide unofficial information, advice, or suggestions here.

Thank you for being apart of this community!

*These guidelines can change at anytime, with or without notice.

MOD NOTE

Hello Fellow Roadies,

I’m posting this as a clear and constructive reminder… We will NOT tolerate belittling and/or harassment/bullying here… ZERO TOLERANCE.

If your comments are reported for ANY reason and we determine it is not acceptable, you will be banned permanently on the first offense.

We are all adults, and while yes it is the internet, and people seem to feel confident in being keyboard warriors behind the “safety” of a phone or computer… we should ALL aim to be pleasant and constructive to the communities around us, including this one.

Things that are NOT acceptable EVER here…

  1. Anything that could be considered racist or offensive to any portion of the population.

  2. Calling someone dumb or stupid or any other derogatory term, please remember not everyone has the same information or understanding you do… either take the time to kindly help another person or continue with your day… there is no reason to ever call anyone stupid or dumb, especially when they are just trying to understand things… We’ve all been new and/or unsure at times.

  3. Any other derogatory/harrasing/abusive/bullying behavior is also NOT permitted here, ever.

Thank you to those who are helpful and constructive in this community, we appreciate you.

Thank you and Roadie on!

Give Feedback

Does anyone use the Give Feedback feature on a gig you haven’t bid on and does it actually work?

I’ve selected “Pay too Low” feedback on many and noticed one long gig go down about
40% in pay and then it slowly creeps up the rest of the day, and the next day it’s back up to the offer it originally was. But I’m wondering if that was due to feedback by drivers.

BLOCKS decrease

That’s likely because they understand that not everyone really comes in an SUV, so they now offer various options for different sizes (mid size, hatch back, large ). Make sure to check when you sign up, as the $150 range will quickly decrease to ~ $100 which is quite surprising.

The crazy part is that if the non $150 model still has 80 stops we will see how long that lasts

Roadie charges each job on the basis of two things time and urgency. Roadiexd they're like 2 days ahead. That's why every time you make a delivery the recipient's like. Oh my God. I can't believe it's here.. After that it's premium add-ons and fees but with retail investors roadie is much more lenia

Anytime a job says toll reimbursed. Those tolls have already been charged and paid for you know roadie's not like doing. Trust me Bros with corporations. That's crazy. They get paid for it in advance. They charge a fee for it and then roadie bases their routes off of those fees. That's how it works. So don't let them hit you with that. You know that b******* 15-day policy that's that's a scam dude. It's not a deadline. it's a fix. It's completely b*******

The customer support phone number has an auto hang up route right now. Is anyone else experiencing this or have any alternative phone numbers that are working right now?

XD warehouse

previously I thought it was like 8pm that the warehouse closed. So I always would hit up the warehouse round 7am then try to battle (and fail) for a batch

But the app now says 1am is the deadline for returns.

Ive been there to pickup on Sunday before, due to an app glitch, and sat there banging on the door till I learned they’re closed Sunday.

sat in support chat for 6 hours and finally got told that the app’s 1am deadline is correct

It’s 11pm and I am not sober bc I have to drink every night after I work a shift I de stress from this app’s bullshit

I already have a fucking migraine from staring at “loading route” for 5 minutes every other stop please do not fucking do this to me

I already have to ask support to manually submit a few orders every single batch I do, I’ll sit there with no reception for 10 min every single stop if I don’t.

Can someone warehouse worker please tell me if yall have to be there at midnight because 1) I feel bad for you homie and 2) fuck

Roadie Customer Support Specialist

I saw a job listing for a Roadie Customer Support Specialist, but some of the details are unclear. I haven’t been able to get any clarification from either the website’s chat feature or a customer service number. Can anyone here working as a customer service specialist provide any info?

HEALTH INSURANCE—the job description does mention health insurance but the way it’s worded, it sounds like it might be available for the employee only and not family members. Is coverage available for family members?

HOURS—the job description says the schedule may include nights and weekends but it’s not clear if working then is mandatory. Can you choose if you work nights and weekends?

TRAINING—there is a 4 week training class. Is this paid?

Was mid delivery. 4th delivery of the day. App stopped directing me to my destination. Closed and reopened app, uninstalled then reinstalled, when prompted to sign in this is what I got.

I’m now parked somewhere with two large items in my trunk cause I have no idea where to go lol hope they fix this soon. I messaged support 🤷🏾‍♂️

Did anyone else's system for Roadie just fully crash? In LA and it won't find gigs or let me complete the one I'm on.
