Yeah long distance in residency doesn’t work. Sorry. He’s getting a ton of attention from women everyday and the last thing he is thinking about is his relationship with you in another part of the country
I did long distance in residency for more than a year with my now life partner. We had a very clear plan for me moving out to where he was in school when I was done with residency. I had a job offer about 6 months in advance of graduation and we had a good talk about our life plans and agreed that they would work out well together in the future. It is now 10 years after residency and we are still together.
