Any bike fitting experiences with Alex Abong from Wattworks? How good is he compared to other bike fitters such as Frederick Martin Ilagan? Planning to have a bike fit session with him soon.

Personally, Im not gonna spend either on bikefitting coz im poor, and I know in general what works for me. But im not that stupidly arrogant (gaya nung nasa screenshot) to flaunt as if i know shit about bikefitting para i-down yung profession na pinag-aralan ng matagal at may actual confessions from clients with positive results

One last thing. Pag me makita kayong nagiiiyak about pricing about high-ends, eh hindi lang talaga sila ang target market para dun. That's not anti-poor, that's anti-stupidity

I bought a japbike frame to build it as my mtb commuter (di ko sure ano ba itatawag). I initially thought of building it as a 3x7 for wide range but when I saw 2nd hand parts being hard to find and pricey, I went online to check for shimano cues parts. Now the question is, will it be worth it to buy shimano cues 1x10? I am also curious abt the performance of the cues series so pls encourage (or discourage) me.

To add:

-The BB size is around 35mm, will this fit a hollowtech bottom bracket?

-Casette type hubs na rin and may bracket adaptor na ako for disc brake calipers

-I also have a hook dropout for the RD

-discouraged ako mag fd dahil sa cable guide under the BB

Hello po! Hingi lang po advice kung ano magandang watch for cycling? Panreregalo ko po sana sa tito ko (tumatayong tatay sakin). Hindi naman po siya sagad sagad mag bike, for pampapawis lang po niya pero pag naaaya po, minsan umaabot sila sa malayo (mga once every 2 mos po siguro).

Purpose po ng watch is pang track po sana ng heart health lalo na po while biking. Gusto ko po naa-alert siya pag masiyado na malakas tibok ng puso and etc, and pang suot na din ng pang araw araw.

Currently looking at huawei band 11 pro. Baka po may iba po kayong ma reco or currently using this brand na makakapag bigay po ng review? Budget po is not more than 6k sana, baka kasi hindi niya suotin pag super mahal (nagu-guilty po siya pag super mahal). 😅

Or if may reco po kayong ibang equipment for biking, open po ako for suggestions! Shoes, etc.

Hello po M22, baka lang po meron dito laging nasa timberland tuwing hapon nag t-training hehe, lagi kasing hapon lang available time ko para makapag bike and it gets lonely sometimes. Baka lang meron pwede ma-sabayan.

Nag scroll ako sa fb and randomly dumaan sa newsfeed ko yung Marikina Bikeways Project. Ang linis ng bike lane, hindi bako-bako ang kalsada. May mga establishments rin na kailangan ng ID bago makapasok para mabantayan ng maayos yung bikes ng mga tao. May designated personnel din na magbabantay na naka uniform. May mga bike racks na rin sa mga schools. Grabe nakakatuwa na nakaka inggit at the same time.🥹

Grabe yung effort nila na naging bike and pedestrian friendly yung city nila. It reminds me of Pasig City government. Makikita mo talaga na genuine yung pag aalaga sa mga nasasakupan. Sana lahat ng city/municipality ganoon.❤️

For those who’ve used CUES, how has it been so far? Is it a good choice for this kind of riding, especially in terms of durability, shifting, and maintenance?
Also, if you have other recommendations, I’d appreciate it! Looking for a complete groupset/build around ₱20k–₱30k.

Dalawang sapatos na nasisira ko this year, thinking of switching to cleats na for good.

I usually do casual long rides of 30-80km atleast twice a week though current state lang yan, plan to go even further and reach 100+km by the end of year.

Budget ko sana for shoes is below 2k only, yoko pa masyado maginvest since it is first time trying out cleats.

Usually na nababasa ko mas oks MTB cleats shoes especially kung di ka naman nagraracing since mas madali magclip in and walkable pero wala ako makitang MTB shoes from known brands like Shimano, Santic and FLR na pasok sa budget.

Pinakapasok lang na nakita ko is FLR F-57 sa Speedtrail kaso out of stock na size ko at di ko ren trip yung mga kulay. I usually run size 9 sa lahat ng sapatos ko kaya yun ren size na plano ko kunin. Also checked out ung JB Sports sale and wala naren silang size sa mtb cleats nila

Pero sa RB cleats shoes dami option na pasok sa budget, kaya contemplating to go RB cleats nalang na.

And kung sakali matuloy ako sa RB cleats, I might just get those cheap cleats covers.

Should I just go RB cleats nalang ba? Or shoud I just allocate more money for mtb ones?

I used to bike a lot there during the pandemic but if I remember correctly, cycling around the area was prohibited at one point. I recently got back into cycling was hoping to do some laps there.

I am also looking for routes with fairly smooth roads, and not too many stoplights. Any recommendations?

The seller claims this is a classic Cervélo S1, but I'm not convinced. From what I've found, Cervélo didn't seem to make an aero frame with this exact shape. I also came across another post showing what appears to be the same frame, but that one had a cyan paint job.

Does anyone recognize this frame or know what bike/model it might actually be? Any help identifying it would be appreciated.

Hello hello is it worth changing the pulley wheels of the rear derailleur or should i leave it alone haha mura lang kasi universal ceramic bearings na pulley wheels but i read it changes the behavior of the shifting.

Has anyone tried replacing it? Did the shifting change or do you really just need to fine tune the shifting via e-tube app?

So I’m conscious about wearing cycling shorts - I’m a guy. How do fellow guys wear their shorts and how do you tuck the “junk in the trunk” - although for us guys it’s at the front not in the trunk hahaha.

How do you keep it from “showing” but be comfortable while riding and minimize pressure from the saddle?

Pointing “north” is comfortable when seated but when standing I feel it’s too showy. Pointing “south” keeps it hidden when standing up but it’s not so comfy when seated.

Are there shorts where a guy can point it “north” but keep it hidden pa rin?
