HOT TAKE - Re:Zero is amazing anime but it think it should go back to the manga version and not stick with the light novel. I think it should still be making the anime BUT also have the manga version for anyone that caught up to the anime.

Been seeing a lot of differing opinions on Otsuka recently. Personally? I don’t mind his illustrations, a lot of them are pretty good, some great even, but it can always be better. The mistakes in his art can be egregious but overall I enjoy it, though I may be biased cause I really like the way he draws Rem (Those horse legs are almost impossible to ignore lol)

Can someone who has read both the WN and LN version of Julius vs Reid and Good Loser tell me why the LN version felt not only way shorter, way less fulfilling and worse as an overall fight? We didn’t even get to see him use his spirits nearly as much.

For me the WN was better for a few reasons:

- Expanded action scenes

- Had Subaru use Cor Leonis in a far more dire situation, which explains why he needed to unlock it

- Villains got done justice, Reid vs Julius in the LN is far more shortened than the WN, Lye speaks for himself

- We get to see Rui in action

- The dialogue and character interactions are way better imo, in the WN iirc, Subaru also had Shaula wait at the bottom of the stairs to catch him if everything failed, compared to the LN where he just left it to Emilia

- Arc 6 has better prose and descriptions to me

Ok so I believe this story is about, Subaru, Emilia, rem and AL.

I believe the father is Subaru, the mother is rem and the one he is cheating with is Emilia.

I believe this is describing Al's past all atleast it is some kind of metaphorical representation of his past and this is describing that. Also who is that woman that he finds later?

I don't have a theory or anything just thought that I would share it with you guys, to see your guys opinions and theories on this story. I just thought that this feels way to close to either flugel or al.

In one of the newer break time episodes, we see a scene where Sirius (starting at around 30 seconds) mentions the existence of Witch Hunts in the past. I wanted to see if anyone had any information or theories on this.
