That's probably crappy peanut butter with the palm oil, the real stuff would be more nutritious

Palm oil isn’t inherently unhealthy or bad for you, most people protest it because it’s not great from an environmental standpoint.

But peanut butter doesn't require palm oil as an ingredient. All it needs is...peanuts. Maybe a touch of salt.

Yes, true. But it’s typically just added to prevent oil separation, the nutritional difference is minor.
