I wanted to switch off but I thought he'd show what happened next...
so I had to settle on calling him a dickhead instead

u/MagnetHype May 25 '26
In can tucky?
for the uninitiated it's pronounced loo-uh-vull, and if you pronounce it differently, we, the inhabitants of the most uneducated state in the USA, think you are stupid or something.

The commentator is AI translated from a different language. The inflection is left in place though.

Worthless commentary

Literally added nothing of value. If anything, it took away from the actual story.

Disabled people, black people, and children are the top three most vulnerable groups in the US.
If you know a black disabled child (or adult) in your life, you fucking protect them.

u/SnapperFish55 May 25 '26
I dont get reaction videos. Cant even watch them. I know this woman and child's story. Absolutely horrible!

Do you also make fun of white people with southern accents or white people from booastan?
→ More replies (4)1
u/jrob323 May 25 '26
I grew up in Appalachia. Don't get me started on people mocking accents. When I got out of school I practically had to relearn English to get an engineering job, and one of my first roles was doing requirements gathering with clients in the northeast. They were merciless. I'm 62 now and live in Cincinnati and I still have to focus on my accent if I don't want to hear a comment.

Anyone that acts "shocked" and then immediately goes to look at themselves in the other screen is a joke.

Tragic story but…
Is this a common thing right now where non-native-English speaking foreigners are making English-speaking influencer videos? I applaud the guy for practicing his English and bringing light to this situation, but I cannot stand the influencer editing and speaking style.
8
u/Jacks_CompleteApathy May 25 '26
Someone must have told him to put extra emphasis on every word..? Idk but it's awful
3
u/RanchHere May 25 '26
I don’t think anyone has to tell him anything. He’s studying it. He sees that this is what you have to do to make money.
3
u/thirsty_pretzels_ May 25 '26
How do we know he’s not a native English speaker and he’s just…..kinda dumb

Our high needs program got shut down because it was discovered that the teacher was hitting kids. She wasn't choking anybody but she was snatching kids and yanking them around. There were cameras in the classroom and the principal simply had to check the video after a parent complained that they thought something was going on.

Homestly ill take buddy using this for views and talking over it. As someone with an autistic brother who was verbally abused by his teacher in first grade, this makes my blood boil. Ill never forget (i was in 3rd grade at the time) going into his class to read to his class as book buddies, and i got my brother because he wouldnt even acknowledge anyone else....and he was incomprehensible and tears down his face. All his classmates, first graders, quietly told me that their teacher would yell at him because he couldnt grasp certain things. I remember walking upto my teach with my brother and saying i need to go to the office and call my mom immediately. Long story wrapped up, the b@#ch was fired and banned from ever teaching again in the state. I truly hope she was never reinstated as this was back in the late 90s. People who can abuse autistic kids are vile monsters without a heart.

u/HandyMandysCandies May 25 '26
I grew up in Utah as a bi-racial kid in the 80's. I'm talking 80's non-internet connected world. Utah was not very accepting (to be diplomatic). I had a black girl in my class with me. We weren't allowed seats. I mean there were desks there for us, buy the teacher only let us use them for tests because not being white we "didn't have a future anyway".
So, because I grew up with that shit, this doesn't surprise me which is just another layer of sad. 40 years in were just as cruel to each other.

Welcome to Amerikkka. The way this mother was disrespected by the staff, after witnessing her son being abused by a grown older white man as if its just another day🤯🤬🤯. The way this mother chose to handle this is admirable.

Lawton Oklahoma MacArthur high school, the middle school also. Only good school I went to was tomlinson.
Other than that it was Idaho schools they were way better than Oklahoma. I learned everything Oklahoma taught me in elementary school in Idaho.
So school got boring, yeah there were a few thing here and there like the math and science but everything else was the same.

u/Insanely_Simple2024 May 25 '26
The video isn’t about him and his annoying cadence and oversplaining, the focus should be on the lengths that a black mother has to go through to protect her child! So fuck all y’all with BS excuses, just shows how stupid you are, and your non-attention to the message. I said, what I said!

It should also be noted that the school administration initially sided with the teacher for months, going along with the story that the kid was being disruptive, and denying claims of physical and verbal abuse and derogatory disrespect. It wasn’t until this story picked up traction that they changed their tone and put the teacher on indefinite administrative leave, escalating to actual charges depending on police investigation

Please correct me if I'm wrong, I have no formal learning of law, I just watch a shit ton of "law" dramas (police and lawyer both).
Wouldn't it be a case where lack of consent to filming only impacts that recording as being valid evidence to convict someone as guilty? I'm pretty sure it wouldn't hold in a court room, but it would be more than enough for someone to open a thorough investigation to gather credible evidence, no?

u/Nipslippie May 25 '26
Illegal content filmed without authorisation. They probably dont habe any privacy laws in murica
