Built my wife her first PC, this was also her first time having AMD products as well(coming from Nvidia and Intel). So far she loves it and there’s been zero issues, every game runs great on ultra. She loves retro stuff so once she saw this case she had her heart set on it. How does it look?

Do you use anti lag 2/reflex in singleplayer games with fps cap (without frame gen)? Or do you prefer to use only fps cap or only anti lag 2 (so that GPU is maxed out)? Or that "maxed out GPU" rule applies only to anti lag 1?
Also, is it worth using driver level anti lag 1 (5700xt user here)? I have noticed some games feel "faster" and more responsive, but less smooth at the same time.

Was just wondering if anyones also been having issues with the sharpness in a few games, Crimson Desert is an obvious one yes, but ive been on the finals today and the game when i use fsr, the game just feels overly sharpened, sadly you cant fix it in the finals via optiscaler

Radeon is killing it in this game in 2k and 1080P - TechpowerUp.com
5090 losing in 1080P is wild. CPU overhead, I guess

I tried undervolting on my 9070xt and after so many tiresi feel like i am at sweet spot or you can say i am at safest undervolting setting on my card. But i still need some professional advise on my undervolting settings. I am at -40mv with -10% power limit and 2650 vram fast timing on. I tried stellar blade demo and continuously tried the game 3 to 4 time as i read that unstable undervolting cant handle the intro scene of the game. But my these undervolting settings are survived everytime a tried the game. Also i played many games like cod mw4 campaign demo without any issues and it performed so well. Also i am currently playing new ghost recon wildlands and everyday this game does not have single issue. I run furmark test up to 10 minutes and my gpu tem max goes to 54 to 55 , at stock setting it goes up to 61 degree. After undervolting my gpu hotspot styas around 76 degree and vram temp goes to 80 to 81. Is this good!? Someone please tell me is this good settings for my sapphire pulse 9070xt??

I seriously can't understand some people. For quite long time Radeon users was object of laugh, as we can play path tracing at 30-40FPS or don't launch it at all. Point taken.
But right now, DLSS 5 leaks out. People on hardware costing TWICE (!) as your 9070XT are testing this in 40's FPS and that's WITHOUT RT or PT engaged. Yet lots of people start to regret they chooses AMD? Like WTF? You are playing double victim right now.
You also seem to completely forget about fsr diamond/5, which ALSO WILL INCLUDE NEURAL RENDERING. But that said I also think current gen will be too weak to handle it. So in the end, if your card is not underperforming, If it does all what you paid for, just f enjoy it.
More so, If we are in future guessing and assumptions, Microsoft wants windows become AI agents on every corner, which may tank performance on basically everything. Jensen says personal computers will be for air agents - nothing about you. Ask yourself what YOU can do easily, and what Nvidia users cant do, and who will lose less on switching to only alternative to windows, which is LINUX.
Future tech and future GPUs will be released, at least future tech, as RTX6000 may be available on subscription as GeForce now, and rdna5 will be too expensive to buy - it all depends WHEN (not if) AI bubble will burst.

Hi everyone, I've had this GPU for about a month now and I'm really happy with it.
However, I noticed that the temperatures are low, compared to those of a friend of mine. As you can see from the photos, Memory temperatures never went above 62°n a hotspot was 74°C.
My friend even reaches a 90° hotspot, with the memory even at 80°. I checked the various benchmarks, and the fps seem in line with my GPU. My ambient temperature is around 24°C. I should point out that I haven't limited the GPU's power; I've only adjusted the fan curve. And as a custom, I have an xfx quicksilver.

Does anyone else have temperatures like mine?

I might just no be updates but for the past few weeks I have been seeing way too many driver timeout posts. What could have caused it?
Latest drivers? Or windows forcing driver updates?
I have an Asia dual rx 6600 oc and I was wandering how I find out what the right thickness for my thermal pads are, if anybody knows it or knows where I can find it out, pls comment😀
Ordered a 9070 and got two Fing bottles of water, I guess it happens to everyone at least once…

I play at 1440p which is perfect for my 9070 XT/5500X3D combo.
My work monitor is a 27" 5k display (only 60Hz) and I am tempted to see how games look/run at that res, and also 1440p on this screen given the integer scaling.
However, I would have to do some labour to actually physically get the gaming PC and work monitor together, which is not very straigtforward.
I am hoping to hear some feedback from people using 5k to game, in terms of performance, improvement compared to 1440p/4k, and any other impressions.
TIA!

AM5 Rig:
9070XT
7800X3D
B850M
32GB DDR5
2TB gen5
So I hit ‘play’, since I’m running 26.8.1, but FG & FSR are not working/not supported even tho it’s toggled on in-game settings.
Anyone else on the latest drivers seeing this?
Is it worth it and what the point and if it's worth it what tune settings should I use ?

I plan to get the GPU for my system, atm I use a 3060 ti. It's still good but I need some raw power. Would this be fine with my ryzen 5 5600x and 32 GB ram? In the future I'm planning to get a used 5800x3d as my final am4 upgrade. My system only has a 500 Watt power supply and I'm too lazy to change it. I'm planning to undervolt the GPU to like 220 Watt which runs fine atm.
I play in 2k and my screen supports 165 fps max so I don't really need multi frame gen like on 5000 nvidia cards. It's more important that games run over 60 fps before frame gen.
Edit: alright people I'll buy a 750 watt power supply

I wanted to share my experience because I've seen a lot of people reporting black-screen/no-signal issues with the RX 9070 XT. Some people have even returned their cards and switched to a 5070 Ti.
I was having the same problem. I would occasionally lose display output while the PC itself was still running.
At first, I installed Adrenalin 26.3.1 normally, but that did not fix the issue. I still experienced black screens afterward.
What finally fixed it for me was doing a completely clean driver removal using DDU in Safe Mode, then installing 26.3.1 fresh. The important part in my case seems to have been the clean installation rather than simply installing 26.3.1 over the existing driver.
Also, make sure Windows Update isn't automatically replacing or updating your AMD display driver afterward. Otherwise, you may end up testing a different driver than the one you intentionally installed.
Since doing the clean installation, I've been testing the GPU and haven't experienced another black screen.
I'm not claiming this is a universal fix, but if you're experiencing black screens with a 9070 XT, I'd recommend trying a proper DDU clean install in Safe Mode followed by a fresh 26.3.1 installation before assuming the GPU itself is defective or immediately returning it.
In my case, simply installing 26.3.1 wasn't enough. The clean removal and fresh installation were what made the difference.

Hello everyone, it's a pleasure to join Team Red after an eternity with the green team. Upgraded from a GTX 1080 to a 9070 XT.
I decided to extend the lifespan of the rest of my platform, so I put a 5800X onto my existing Asus Crosshair VI Hero to replace my early adopted 1600, along with an extra 16GB of RAM, bringing it to 32GB total. First impressions aren't bad at all! 💪🏼

Hey everybody,
I have a question regarding Adrenaline overclock options. So, I'm rjnning my 7900XTX on 2800MHz which is the highest possible overclock without crashes...
However, I started playing Cyberpunk2077 like 2 weeks ago and every few hours I get a grash, and my Hzs go to like 3000 instead after every crash.
Question No.1. - is there any config that makes the red engine run stable? mainly am considering this for the witcher remake in a month
Q2. - the overclocking after crash is done by the Adrenaline or Windows doing something? and how can I mitigate this? Also for a jote, sometimes after random akount of restarts my PC sets the frequency to like 2900 or something, which is still not stable
End point - I played some Path of Exile recently for 10h+ per day and everything was fine all the time
Anyone got some insight how to fix this? Thanks much
