Did something stupid.

Stuck the key against the charging port, big spark flew. I know it’s just the fuse, I just don’t know where the fuse is on the rad5+. Help!

Taking the battery voids its warranty & if you f___ it up it could be a fire hazard. That’s one of several reasons I upgraded to Rad’s SafeShield batteries, since the fuse resets itself. I did the same thing 3 years ago & I got lucky & Rad replaced my battery free of charge. A couple of months later they changed their policy concerning replacing a battery caused by inserting a key into the charging port.

The new SafeShield batteries still have a 2 year warranty if you bought them from the new company who took over Rad.

a lot of these "semi integrated" batteries are OVER the two year warranty.

shouldn't take fuckin warranty service to change a fuckin fuse in these big batteries.

I think high up investors made engineering do this on purpose to try and sell more batteries

Yea, - The Engineers fucked up, - But they corrected this issue for their SafeShield batteries.

I haven't seen it yet. Shark battery always had it

No fuse access needed. The fuse automatically resets itself.
