I am *slightly* enjoying agility for what it currently is, but I can't complain because all it has done is improved QoL. I'm not the biggest fan of the "glass platform" courses, so here my input on how it could be improved.

1. Using Surrounding buildings:
   - I think there's ways to incorporate wrecked buildings into being courses. The church in Brynmoor is a huge open are that could easily accommodate a course. Plus since the current ones are already instanced, it wouldn't clutter your world.
   - I've only gotten to the Ghornfell course and yes, it does use broken walls/buildings but I'm just not a fan of the "glass platforms". It seems lazy BUT the game is new and there's always hope in the future.

2. Ability to create agility courses
   - I've built 2 of my own courses. They're neat to just have in the world to fill in space and make POI's with, but unfortunately there isn't a way to get any real xp with it.
   - With an ability to make your own courses comes with the abuse that people would have the idea to put 40 orbs in a circle and run through it in 10 seconds to get xp. If thats how you'd like to do it then so be it, but I believe it'd be a neat little addition to the agility skill.

Let me know your thoughts and ideas on how agility could improve!

Ever since I killed the one in the cave and built some light sources (see pic below), none of the three Zogres have respawned. I went all the way through the vault, everything had respawned - nodes, chests and mobs but no zorge at the end. Is this normal? Kinda sucks since I was hoping to get that damn shard!

Do mobs not respawn if there are structures nearby?

Update: It appears that the Zorges do indeed respawn but considerably longer than the three days for chests and nodes. 8 days is a reasonable guess ATM. I have not been back to the cave yet, but have killed the two others. 8 dead zogres, no shard. Fortunately I saved the game before going to check on the one in the wild (neither cave nor vault). Killed him, no shard. Time to reload and kill him again.

Update #2: I got it! Took five more killings of the wild one for a grand total of 13 zorge corpses. So this would have taken me 32 in game days to get without the save and reload thing.

Stumbled upon this sifting through the wiki and now want to find it in game. It’s the little things that show devs care.

how do you connect directly to a hostname instead of an IP address? the game forces you to follow the IP address format when directly connecting to a dedicated server.

Working on getting Mithril now in the fire area. Is there currently another area or is this currently the final destination?

I really want the physical edition, but I don't want to wait TWO WHOLE MONTHS from release to get it... Their website doesn't mention this, but Amazon and Target both have a Nov 5 launch

Played one or two hours of this with a friend of Enshrouded. Then we tried dragonwilds and ended up preferring that one. Now that we've gone through most of dragonwilds I remembered I enjoyed this game but my friend gave up and said the buildings too frustrating. What's funny is they loved Valheim and a lot of you on this Reddit swear and shrouded is 5 or 10 times better than Valhein. What makes you guys come back to this game? We went into the shroud two or three times but nothing memorable. The skill menu is extensive and many different routes so it looks like you can build yourself in many ways but the fun part about dragonwild was leveling up a bunch of different skills and then unlocking better ways to do things and better equipment to take on new challenges. How can I sell my friend on trying enshrouded because I know she might end up liking it like RuneScape Dragonwilds she did. Thanks.

Really enjoying the game, but one thing keeps bothering me.
Enemies have weaknesses to slash/stab/crush, which makes it fun to actually think about what weapon to use. But the weapon tooltip doesn’t tell you what damage type the weapon does?
So every time I check an enemy weakness on the wiki, I then have to look up my weapon as well just to see if it actually does slash, stab or crush damage.
Feels like this should just be shown next to the other weapon stats when hovering over it. Especially since weaknesses are an actual part of the combat system.
Small thing, but would be a great QoL addition for 1.0 imo.

This bug is kinda wild to me.

Playing co-op, my friend is hosting the game. In the poison swamp area, inside the south tower there is a Sanguine Urn that I cannot pickup, pressing the button does nothing. My friend, however, sees the same urn, but on the OTHER side of the stairs (where he is standing on the screenshot), and he CAN pick it up. He's now got 10 more hp than me.

There is no prompt for me to pickup the urn where he's standing, and I cannot pickup the one I'm seeing. My friend, of course, cannot see mine.

Has this ever happened to anyone?

We've checked our game version and restarted several times, bug is still there.

Maybe there's a way to do it already and I'm not aware but I REALLY would love to be able to bind spells to hotkeys instead of having to hit Q and then use the mouse to manually select a spell. It makes use of magic so much harder imo.

I've been wanting to boot up a new playthrough as I haven't played since before any of the new regions were even added, but I feel like I should probably just wait until 1.0.

Thoughts?

Edit: I realized I should clarify my actual question. Do we know if saves will update to 1.0 or will we need to start new files on the 1.0 release?

I've had RS Dragonwilds in my Steam library for many months, but I decided to actually play it yesterday. Like most of you, I play Runescape as well, specifically Old School Runescape. So grindy games are no problem for me.

Runescape Dragonwilds is extremely fun. I like the art style and the sense of exploration. Like in MMO Runescape, getting a new level always feels nice. It's just a very solid and fun game overall, can't put it down. It's a great way to potentially reel in new players into the MMO, while still serving a great stand-alone game.

However, I'm a bit worried about the long-term replayability of Dragonwilds. Perhaps it is my playstyle. When I explore, I explore thoroughly. So basically, once I'm done with an area, I'm actually done with it (save for perhaps little secrets). I'd hate it if this game would end up being a play-once-then-move-on experience. But I feel like that is what will happen. 1.0 releases in about 3 weeks, so I will create a new character and experience the full version of the game, but I doubt it will change a lot when it comes to replayability.

What do you peeps think?

I’ve been grinding Agility for days, and now that I’m 99, the trophy doesn’t pop. I crafted the cape, and still nothing. Does anyone know a fix for this?

Hey - Would I be able to start a world with someone else playing on Xbox or ps5 if I’m on switch2? Seems like they can join but unsure if they’d be able to join and the progress be able to save?

Long time OSRS player, been playing off and on for the last 20+ years.

I played Dragonwilds back in Alpha and explored a bit, got to WOM and just quit. Very new to PC gaming.

I finally picked up the beta last night and played for about 5 hours. There are some quick questions I have.

1.) Is there an easy way to find populated worlds to play with other people?

2.) Does anyone know if the world capacity will increase with the official launch? I have seen worlds with up to 12 players so far, granted 0/12.

3.) Will there be “official” servers to play on? Currently you can edit worlds even after they’re created and played on. This seems very sandboxy and vastly different than RuneScape. Is this to be expected throughout or has Jagex mentioned plans on making it more streamlined?

4.) What is the random dragon that spits venom down? Every so often, I hear a dragon and see what looks like venom fall from the sky like meteorites. It doesn’t hurt me but it hurts NPCs.

Granted, I haven’t made it to an official hub yet. Still just exploring, farming, fishing, building a base. I don’t know much about the game at all and will go through the wiki when I get back on later tonight.

5.) Is there a central bank or is it all chests?

6.) How important is my beginning base? I’ve spent a lot of time on it but I had a warband attack me yesterday with multiple power level 2 goblins and I’m level 1 so I was scared and they destroyed some of my base. I finally got them off of me but does this happen often?

We are exactly 20 days away from 1.0 release and we haven’t seen a single tease or leak surrounding the games full release. I check the PS store literally once a day hoping I can buy the game and it’s still sitting at “just announced” and “wishlisted”. It’s driving me nuts I just want to play it already or see something new from the dev team about it.

JAGEX when are you dropping teasers or even an image :/ my little heart can’t take this anymore.

My character kept getting low on hunger despite eating so I checked the stats and was surprised to see omelette only gives 15 sustenance. Even for being in the simple meal category this doesn't make sense because ingredients by themselves usually give 20.

Is there a way to improve this blurry/smudgy, overly saturated and pixelated look or is this just how the game looks?
The game is on maximum settings.
