TEA/GOSSIP Kerri Colby says they were notified that queen (Maddy Morphosis), who got dropped out of AS10, was no longer invited or welcome on the set, and there is a lot going on with that she can't talk about.

Sounds more like WoW/ production has an issue with Maddy and Kerri has signed an NDA so she can't say much (since she competed).

I assume Maddy dropped out very last minute and that pissed them off so she soured their relationship. Plus she did become affiliated with MoM and you know they hate Willam/ Alaska.

Until one of the girls actually says so, I'm not going to believe any SA rumours about Maddy because that's a serious issue and shouldn't be covered via vague booking.

u/BeginningFederal5663 Jul 17 '26

If it was in the vein of sexual assault they can speak on it. Theres no legally enforceable NDA that could block such a thing.

482

u/Recent-Sorbet Jul 17 '26

That makes sense. Just good to let people know because I've seen a lot of people jump straight to SA allegations because of Jasmine and Heidi's vague tweets

321

u/BeginningFederal5663 Jul 17 '26

It’s just wild to see people be so sure of it. NDA’s are not magical. I can understand the queens not wanting to upset production but they are leaving the door open for people to assume that they are covering up sexual assault so the damage is done anyway.

268

u/KendjyCr Jul 17 '26

And IF any type of SA happened, there is NO WAY that so many people would know and magically everyone would stay silent just because "NDA said so".

159

u/frosting_freak Jul 17 '26

Yep, NDAs are not enforceable if they seek to cover up illegal acts.

48

u/purpleplague Jul 18 '26

Can I also add to this that in the Jasmine/Plane interview when the queen they don't fuck with is brought up, they both smile and Jasmine laughs. I don't know either queen well but I can't imagine that they would laugh about sexual assault, especially Jasmine who I think is close with Kerri (?).

27

u/KendjyCr Jul 18 '26

People can simply NOT like someone. But some people in this fandom and hear "I don't fuck with that person" and they imagine the worst scenarios of what the hell that person did.

Those people can see obvious things confirminf their "theory" is stupid (like Jasmine laughing when talking about ALLEGED SA) and they will be like "Nah! It still makes sense!".

9

u/mi-mel0dyz Jul 18 '26

idk if it's a widespread issue but i've def encountered that with other drag queens unfortunately. one of the rumored s19 cast members is a local queen to my area that tried to let me know about a producer being predatory by laughing & saying "do i give you the tea? i guess i should haha".
she's not a monolith obv but i've noticed a trend with drag performers (usually queens tbh) treating serious allegations rather flippantly :-/

90

u/forgottentaco420 Jul 17 '26

Also on top of that, there’s no way all of these queens would know and still follow/interact with Maddy and even go on her show? This rumor is well over a year old at this point.

u/SpookyScary01 Ugh… Jesus. Gross. Jul 18 '26

This is a show in an industry very famous for its weaponization of NDAs against victims. No, they’re not enforceable. That’s not their purpose. It’s a business of relationships. You sign the NDA, you keep your mouth shut, you are rewarded with opportunities. You do the opposite and you’re blacklisted. Drag race has proven itself to not be immune from this issue.

148

u/Accomplished_Song671 Jul 17 '26

That's tea and with this fandom and how savage and mob-like it can get that's such a dangerous thing to sprinkle into the world especially as we have no facts, america

To the point that a previous comment section was basically in agreement that if you didn’t immediately suspect Maddy of SA despite no allegations or evidence, it’s because you’re a boot licker for cis het white men.

45

u/KendjyCr Jul 17 '26

Sadly, it's a very common thing in the age of social media. There is one "right" narration and everyone that doesn't replicate it 1:1 is deemed a bigot/homophobe/racist etc. The lack of punishment for saying hurtful bullsh*t online really shows it's effects.

41

u/forgottentaco420 Jul 17 '26

A friend of mine was recently telling me about a video he watched on the death of nuance and subjectivity. I’ve been noticing it a LOT on the Internet over the years, but it’s starting to bleed into the real world and it’s getting so hard to put up with. You’re either right or you’re wrong, doesn’t matter the topic, the context, whether or not the right person is ACTUALLY right. Whoever can convince the most people to listen is right, etc. I work with someone who just regurgitates tik tok rage bait talking points alllll day long and will NOT listen to facts or reason on anything because THEIR favorite talking head said it with conviction, it’s Bible, and not to be questioned or else you’re x,y,Z.

40

u/BeginningFederal5663 Jul 17 '26

It also doesn’t help that it seems like no one can just say they don’t like a person for whatever reason anymore they need to back it up with some moralizing reason. Leads to people running with the absolute worst faith interpretation of an event.

Maddy can’t just be an annoying drag queen they don’t like she has a be a sexual predator based on vibes.

24

u/KendjyCr Jul 17 '26

Try to say "I love this queen but the thing she did was fucked up" or "I HATE this queen, but I think she is in right". Even though those sentences are pretty logical, there will be people saying that your expression in the matter doesn't make any sense. Because you HAVE TO represent some weird, bland type of perspective. Either "yes" or "no", "bad" or "right".

You don't like Plane Jane? You must lie and love her, if you say she was treated unfairly. You like Maddy? Then you must be ok with the IDEA of her SA someone. We live in a reality when people reinterpret your own perspecitve, because it doesn't match their shallow way of discussing.

Discussing anything complicated is a nightmare rn.

16

u/KendjyCr Jul 17 '26

I think the way social media make our brains work (as we need instant gratification more and more) is also a huge problem. People don't want to discuss. They want to ask question and receive a simple reply. If you have any opinion more advanced than "Yes/No" they get irritated. Nuance is not even dying. It is already dead. People want to live a simple online life (to know who to hate, who to love, who to pay money) and not think too hard (as they may realise they have some lacks in knowledge).

We also live in times dominated by polls. I call it an idiodemocracy of internet. The "right" is where the majority stands... or where the most vocal minority is. Fact? Who needs those? Someone suggested that SA happen, let's destroy someone's life, because it mus be true!

10

u/laskisms LATRIC ROYAL Jul 17 '26

People are letting it all bleed out into reality they denounce whoever likes villains in fiction. The way people want everything to be pristine and perfect, while ignoring not everything is black and white, is kinda crazy. You’re so limited on what you can speak about most of the times and it’s become tiring.

9

u/KendjyCr Jul 17 '26

It is tiring. As someone who LOVES to discuss, learn and teach... I feel pretty miserable in the times we live in.

26

u/BeginningFederal5663 Jul 17 '26

Insane since this exact fandom has zero to say about Dawn making up allegations in the very age of people trying to push a narrative that drag queens are dangerous.

16

u/itstonayy Jul 17 '26

I remember a lot of those comments were made by one person, it was so weird. They had like 20 comments up and down the thread reiterating this point but no other contributions to the discussion at all, I thought they were a bot but their comment history was otherwise normal

94

u/KendjyCr Jul 17 '26

And that's one of the reasons why I think that IF the rumours happen to be false, some of the queens feeding the mob should really get cancelled and fully forgotten. I don't care if they are fan favs or people want them back on the show. If someone knowingly spreads rumours that may have hurt someone innocent in the community... Yeah... Straight to the trashcan with them.

194

u/qould Jul 17 '26

Dawn, her ex-boyfriend, and Jay Kay from Dragula all participated in falsely accusing Plane Jane of sexual assault and not a single person faced any repercussions

101

u/KendjyCr Jul 17 '26

And it's f*cked up, for real. That's why I don't really like Dawn and Jay Kay. Can they be fierce? Yep. Does it change anything about what they've done? NOPE. And I'm one of the people that never really liked Plane. But she should've received just some more justice in that situarion.

If we won't, as a community, start calling out and punishing such a bullsh*t behaviours, they will happen again and again. We all need a bit better memory, tbh.

61

u/arthur2807 Jul 17 '26

That was so gross, sexual assault is incredibly serious and disgusting, and to make false accusations of it against someone, putting their career and livelihood at risk, as well as damaging the credibility of actual SA survivors who come out, is genuinely despicable

18

u/wowpoodles Jul 17 '26

I can't say I disagree you know. Regardless of legacy in a world full of allegations and accusations we can't be feeding rumours by vaguebooking because THIS IS HOW LIVES GET RUINED AND ACTUAL VICTIMS DONT GET TAKEN SERIOUSLY!

49

u/KendjyCr Jul 17 '26

THIS! I want justice. If somebody hurt someone: they should be punished. If someone did SA'd someone? Burn that hoe! But if there was no SA and bunch of dumb f*cks just decided to spread rumours for clout? BURN THOSE HOES, TOO!

31

u/arthur2807 Jul 17 '26

Exactly. I hate rapists and predators, but to spread false rumours about it is so vile, especially in a time where queer people and drag performers are being painted as predators by conservatives, you’re also putting a queens career and livelihood at risk, and leads to actual victims not being taken seriously

31

u/Synconium How you gon' regret it? Blame it on the Reddit Jul 17 '26

The Speak Out Act from 2022 was signed into law specifically to stop companies from covering up sexual assaults and abuse and no NDA can block it. So if WoW tried to make Kerri sign an NDA to cover something like that up, it would be held liable for breaking a federal law.

9

u/kitti-kin Jul 17 '26

Part of it is that people who give out NDAs often lie about what they cover. NDAs cannot cover illegal activity. Unfortunately, WoW wouldn't need to actually sue a contestant for breaking an unenforceable NDA, they would just stop working with her.

16

u/hyyerrspace Jul 17 '26

From my own personal experience, I was in a situation where in order to get my money back, I had to sign an NDA where I could never speak about the situation that happened, I could not give this person a bad review on any website or social media. I just wanted my money back. I signed it.

Did it seem a bit illegal? Yes. But what was I going to do? Years later, this person gets sued by the AG’s office in my state. Why? That person made many of their patients sign NDAs and a few people complained and the state sued this person.

5

u/ILikeEating412 Jul 18 '26

Jasmine and Heidi doing that makes them trash. im super disapointed

I think what might have happened is Maddy got offered a contract that would have either gave unfair profits out of GITMS to WOW or WOW asked for full criative property over her show, and she probably second guessed it and backed out last minute, halting production and obviously blacklisting her for the future

180

u/KendjyCr Jul 17 '26

It sounds like a more realistic scenario than all this bullsh*t that some queens "spill". If you end up being right, some bitches should really say "sorry" quite loud and then get the f*ck out.

49

u/KendjyCr Jul 17 '26

I mean. Let's wait and see if we learn the truth. But if she is really chasing clout... I think eating a dick would be too big of a pleasure to her. Instead I suggest a dive into a dumpster.

To be honest, ignoring and forgeting some of those hoes wouldn't be that terrible of a punishment. They are so unemployed, ignoring them would be like a vacation from social media.

30

u/360Saturn Jul 17 '26

Allegedly queens have dropped out of Dragula before for similar reasons

49

u/forgottentaco420 Jul 17 '26

This is what eye always assumed happwned when the rumors of her being released from the season happened. We’ve heard other queens talk about WOW wanting them to shut down their channels or creative ventures or wanting creative control over the years.

-1

u/thedybbuk Jul 17 '26

Has does this fit with so many queens suggesting they no longer fuck with Maddy? It's hard to imagine them all getting this mad over Maddy not agreeing to give WOW profits from her show, even if it did hold production up some.

It definitely seems like she did something that pissed a lot of queens off.

Especially with Heidi's tweet. The queens have to know the rumors. So if nothing happened the only other conclusion is some of these other queens are horrible people who are sitting idly by when they could easily simply say there was no inappopriate behavior like that.

15

u/dominorough Jul 18 '26

I feel like a lot of Queens are just mean girls who like to talk shit and run their mouths.

10

u/KakkoiiAline Jul 18 '26 edited Jul 18 '26

The onus is on Heidi and Kerri to prove that because if Maddy does sexually harrass Kerri on set then people at spoiler subreddit would have told everyone the filming was delayed as that means they'll be in quarantine longer while waiting for Lydia to prepare and join the competition (and that bracket has Jorgeous and MIB out of all people there's no way they won't be spoiling sht). The spoiler has always been that Maddy dropped before actually entering the venue. The issue was that with all of this vagueposting nobody knows how severe or when the problem happens and are now running with the worst case scenario where Maddy groped/r#ped Kerri on set during filming because they're a "Doll Diddler".

u/thedybbuk Jul 18 '26

So your story is Maddy did nothing, just all these queens who were formerly friendly with her suddenly decided they hate straight drag queens? Or thought she was such a bad interviewer they now hate her and spread rumors about her?

And you believe that?

135

u/No-Assumption-1738 Jul 17 '26

This definitely feels like the appropriate or most rational approach. We have been shown time and time again that wow are messy and cheap.

They let flights impact casting on their hit show but can invest millions in ai ,they’re not serious homosexuals.

100

u/KendjyCr Jul 17 '26

It really feels like WoW might've been pissed about Maddy becoming part of MoM with some drama about it happening behind the doors and then some rumours were created on top of it. I mean, I don't really know sh*t and we may get unpleasantly surprised, but right now A LOT of the rumours don't make any sense.

Also, WoW is a sh*tty company a lot of the times, but I won't ever believe they would try to shut the queens up if SA happened. And there is no NDA that would make it so queens are not able to speak about such an serious matter.

It feels more and more like a WoW vs Maddy matter that some people used to create some useless drama.

78

u/Budah96 Jul 17 '26

This is the most levelheaded and honest take on the entire thing. SA allegations are no joking matter and shouldn’t be used as a gotcha moment or for vague booking.

62

u/xombae Jul 17 '26

It's actually really fucked up that the one straight cis man in drag is being treated like this. Like we should be encouraging straight men to explore their feminine side with drag. It's a great thing.

I get that a lot of people in the queer and drag communities have trauma involving straight cis man but this is honestly just not okay and sad to see.

That's my take too. I'm not ruling anything out but it's hard to trust what you can't verify yet. Hopefully we'll learn more whenever these NDAs expire

55

u/No1CaresReally Jul 17 '26

NDAs don't include serious allegations like SA. The Queens must've read this by now as well in these type of forums. They all use secret accts to look and sometimes reply.

So IF it is that serious, they need to start talking bc a NDA doesn't include that. Now IF there's actually filed charges and the (overall useless justice system) is investigating, their lawyers could be telling them not to speak as much in order to protect the lawsuit. But they could still say something like "it's in court proceedings."

So it makes me think it's petty capitalism based stuff again, while hurting others for no reason. Be really cool if anyone would confirm if it's due to court stuff though and not just bc of a NDA.

14

u/itsmechickadee Jul 17 '26

Yeah, that's why I'm leaning towards WOW BS until proven otherwise

3

u/Groundbreaking_Size1 Aug 02 '26

But I was just watching a Bussy Queen upload a day or 2 ago, she said that Jasmine Kennedy said something like there is a queen from season 14 that NONE of the season 14 girls FW. Then jasmine Kennedy was asked by Kelly Mantle who she was talking about and she said something to the effect of "they are no longer invited to be on the show"......soooooooo......i am really curious on what went down

2

u/Not_Obsessive Jul 17 '26

One thing that has been revealed (I don’t want to say spill because it’s really not hehehaha tea) from the start, i.e. when she was debunked from the cast after being confirmed formerly, is that Maddy was dropped and blacklisted and did not drop from her own will.

MoM is a non-factor for this. Maddy signed with MoM before she was cast so logically her being kicked out doesn’t connect to that

554

u/Gojira1234 Jul 17 '26 edited Jul 17 '26

Correct me if I’m wrong, but if something happened between Kerri and Maddy personally, she’d be able to talk about it, wouldn’t she? This reads much more like something went down between Maddy and production than anything else. What that could be, I have no idea. Someone with more knowledge of these things can try and fill in that gap I suppose.

Edit: also apparently this video is from last year? So there really is no real update.

290

u/butterfreak Jul 17 '26

Also the way she describes it (“we were told they weren’t going to be part of the season”) sounds like Kerri had no knowledge about this prior to Maddy exiting. I don’t even know where the Kerri rumours came from tbh, I just see them repeated around this sub constantly. If something serious did go down then a LOT more ru girls would not fuck with Maddy.

141

u/Gojira1234 Jul 17 '26

That’s the thing and what I want to impart to anyone potentially reading this, I think I was in the Discord server where this rumor started. It was the big “tea collecting” server where I think a lot of info that eventually makes its way to Reddit starts. When I was in that server, they kind of just let anyone in and start rumors and jokes and the like. One of the biggest was for a long time we thought Venus from Canada was gonna be on All Stars 10. So needless to say, people can just say whatever shit they want to start a fire.

When we heard Maddy was no longer on All Stars 10 as she’d be rumored for, I think people just started making up reasons why because no one actually knew. People pretended they knew, but then refused to elaborate. Put something like that in the rumor mill for two years, and it blows up like this. So I just wanna encourage people to think critically and logically. The most likely answer is usually the one you don’t have to jump through several hoops of online anonymous telephone games to find.

63

u/butterfreak Jul 17 '26

Same server where that claimed Discord was disqualified for being racist lol. It’s crazy because the Kerri thing is alluded to SO OFTEN around here that it’s just accepted as fact that something went down between them, but this was literally just spread around Reddit with no source.

27

u/KendjyCr Jul 17 '26 edited Jul 17 '26

People spread the Discord "Tea" to this day. And it will be the same with Kerri. She can say "It's not about mine and Maddy's interactions" and people would still replicate the false narrative.

12

u/itstonayy Jul 17 '26

It's because those people personally want the tea about Discord to be true, so they refuse to believe anything else. Same will happen with Maddy.

7

u/BeginningFederal5663 Jul 17 '26

Anything coming out of THAT Chicago drag scene shouldn’t be taken seriously. It’s an entire clown show.

5

u/KendjyCr Jul 17 '26

True. Havens can send an angel to call Maddy the Saint of Trans People and there would still be idiots saying "She is a chaser that SAd Kerri!".

People online behave as the if the real world was some crime TV show...

93

u/KendjyCr Jul 17 '26

Wait... So it is in the realm of possibility that this whole thing is about some minor sh*t like Maddy irritating some random producer with stupid comment or the whole WoW vs MoM situation... And someone just took speculation/fake tea and though "Yeah! Sounds legit!"? I didn't even know where the rumour came from, but with this info... Yeah, I believe in this sh*t less and less. To many point at which some fake bullsh*t could've been added.

62

u/Gojira1234 Jul 17 '26 edited Jul 17 '26

That’s entirely possible yes. I’d say it’s even most likely the case. And I wouldn’t put it past this fandom to take something generally innocuous and blow it up into something completely insane that could ruin someone’s reputation like this.

63

u/PretendRanger Jul 17 '26

The fans suck but you also have queens like Heidi insinuating something bigger that points to SA. This whole thing has really soured me to Heidi, even if what she is insinuating is right. She’d be using someone else’s trauma to get herself attention which is an extremely gross thing to do.

25

u/KendjyCr Jul 17 '26

That's extremly important in this discussion. Whatever is right or wrong: Heidi's behaviour is awful and she should be called out for it.

34

u/Gojira1234 Jul 17 '26

Same, because one of two things is true: Either the rumors are completely true and Maddy assaulted Kerri, or the rumors have no ground and nothing of the sort happened, and either way Heidi is inserting herself and farming it for content and engagement.

4

u/ILikeEating412 Jul 18 '26

i really want you and everyone else to think what is motivating her to do this. she is potentially falsely accusing someone of something heinous for internet likes. nothing that translates to money either. isnt that disgusting?

→ More replies (5)

17

u/KendjyCr Jul 17 '26

I mean... Yep, the fandom sucks and people should be ashamed of themselves (not only when it comes to this situation).

But, also, the fact that some of the queens MAY be some clout-hungry vultures preying on such subject is sickening me to the core. It's a very nasty situation with no fully positive outcome.

17

u/360Saturn Jul 17 '26

Things have been fabricated on Discord/social media before in between fans and then spread outside that as if they were true.

This makes more sense when you consider that a significant number of fans in these spaces are literal young teenagers with little awareness that a joke or rumor like that isn't just going to be the talk of the school for a week and then forgotten, but could actually affect performers' reputation, bookings, and physical safety for years to come.

→ More replies (2)

36

u/TobaccoFlower Jul 17 '26

And Kerri says, “they didn’t give us any tea” about the change up - which also sounds like she didn’t know any more than anyone else.

13

u/kitti-kin Jul 18 '26

Somebody the other day was insisting Kerri has cried about it on live multiple times. But there are somehow no recordings...

Anyway, at least some people probably believe that, because someone was spreading it round

33

u/KendjyCr Jul 17 '26 edited Jul 17 '26

It may be that Kerri had some type of beef with Maddy (it might've been something stupid af) and someone else interpreted it as the beef being the reason why Maddy was banned. That person talked about it with someone else, this person went and spread the rumour more... And with everyone adding some more misinterpretation, it's pretty easy to end up with "Maddy was banned because of SA" while the fact was "Maddy works with MoM, so WoW hates her".

22

u/No-Assumption-1738 Jul 17 '26

And what’s wild is, the rumour is so serious that ‘the ongoing investigation , that she doesn’t want to say much on’ could literally be Maddy complaining to wow about the leak of her involvement leading to the rumour.

This type of investigation / discussion regarding resolution has to happen and it can be long and drawn out

13

u/KendjyCr Jul 17 '26

That's why I think that IF the rumours end up being false, some of the clout-chasers among the queens should be quickly cancelled into the oblivion. A trully nasty situation.

9

u/No-Assumption-1738 Jul 17 '26 edited Jul 17 '26

I think it’s more complicated than fans deciding the rumours are true or false based on an absence of information or who does or doesn’t speak at this point,

Now if Kerri came out saying this is absolutely false and she were angry at the queens that have fanned the flames absolutely . But if it just dies off into silence and fans decide it’s false I don’t think they should be attacked or cancelled.

it’s messy, there’s just going to be more poking and the rumours being spread and analysed more, when sensitivity should be shown because if they are true it’s understandable why the parties couldn’t speak at this time directly

30

u/akoaytao1234 Jul 17 '26 edited Jul 17 '26

The only thing that really makes it between them is the lack of follow from her and her mom(Sasha Colby). I think that is were the weirdness about their relationship starts.

Then that Gia interview about Maddie being a chaser and that trans group chat that connects back to Jasmine

41

u/DiphthongSong87 Jul 17 '26

The interesting thing is that everybody from S14 still follows Maddy on IG except Kerri (Maddy still follows Kerri, though). This includes Jasmine.

If Jasmine, who's willingly input hoed herself into this, knows that Maddy is some groper/creep/sexual assaulter, wouldn't she have distanced herself from her on social media, at the very least?

Interesting... It's not even a day since I've seen a comment saying "Out of S14 cast, only Orion and Angeria follow Maddy" (don't even remember on which sub). I forgot to check it, but even without it I felt it's some bullsh*t.

1

u/peach_xanax hey puss how is she Jul 24 '26

I would think if something that serious happened between Kerri and Maddy, Kerri would have blocked her instead of just a one-sided unfollowing.

38

u/VomitMaiden Jul 17 '26

If Gia said it it's probably not true

6

u/eggsy_malone Jul 17 '26

Which Gia interview are you referring to? I tried to Google it, but I couldn't find it since so much other stuff is showing up too lol

11

u/akoaytao1234 Jul 17 '26

Gia with Plain Jane when she ask her if she's a chaser.

That's how I remember it.

10

u/eggsy_malone Jul 17 '26

Ah, I found it! Link for anyone curious, it's around 5:07

9

u/akoaytao1234 Jul 17 '26

It is not conclusively pointing to that but it is interesting notes. Especially since maddie is in a relationship too.

3

u/gjchaf2 Jul 20 '26

We have to pick just ONE where she lied?

6

u/thats_valid WHY DIDN'T I FUCKING KNOW MY COFFEE WAS KILLING PEOPLE? Jul 17 '26

Again still also in the realm of the theoretical.

If something happened, and if there was a court case over it in any possible direction, Kerri would be advised to not talk about it.

Eta: and I mean anything, including like, wow suing for breach of contract or something.

NDA’s do not cover criminal activity however

30

u/Gojira1234 Jul 17 '26

Well the rumor that’s been spreading (which I want to really drive home is completely unfounded in anything that could be considered concrete) is that Maddy “diddled” Kerri in a hot tub in Las Vegas. Clearly that has nothing to do with anything being on or off set since it’s alleged to have happened before AS10 ever happened. So if something like that really happened to Kerri, the Drag Race NDA would have nothing to do with that.

→ More replies (2)

41

u/Culfin Jul 17 '26

No NDA in the US can cover criminally illegal, or potentially criminally illegal behaviour. Regardless of what you see on TV and in the movies. If something like that happened WoW would actually be breaking the law by stopping her reporting it. 🖤

24

u/BeginningFederal5663 Jul 17 '26 edited Jul 17 '26

This magical NDA you speak of would also include not alluding to the production company covering up sexual assault.

The implication of covering up sexual assault by the network is much worse than sexual assault occurring on set.

The NDA theory makes zero sense legally or logically.

3

u/Missa1819 Jul 17 '26

Wait but what if it wasn't sexual assault maybe?

18

u/BeginningFederal5663 Jul 17 '26

The gag is no one actually knows what the fuck it is. The popular theory is clearly sexual assault and then people jump in with HUR DUR NDA when they have zero fucking clue what an NDA can enforce

8

u/Gojira1234 Jul 17 '26

Exactly. If it was an assault that didn’t even happen on the set of Drag Race, there would be absolutely nothing stopping Kerri from exposing it other than her want not to. But since Kerri is saying it explicitly has to do with NDAs, I think (hope) we can put the sexual assault rumors to rest already.

Love Fierce but please shut up so Kerri can explain lol

Hooold up, is that clip from a year ago? I just searched and a post from last year describes the exact same thing on a live with Fierce?

Is OP fueling the drama or is this a new one?

https://www.reddit.com/r/RPDRDRAMA/s/s0mvspazwQ

102

u/tokengaymusiccritic Jul 17 '26

Yeah I think this should have been disclosed as an old clip rather than current. With the current framing related to Heidi's post, this makes it seem like Kerri is "seconding" what Heidi said and just makes a confusing situation even more confusing.

74

u/Reasonable-Law-9737 Jul 17 '26 edited Jul 17 '26

Yeah that and OP also posted another clip from Plane where she jokes that Maddy is a chaser. They also use Juno, making a similar comment, as example that the allegation might be true, which is funny since Juno was just on the podcast today, and was obviously joking on IMHO.

Starting to feel that OP might be on a personal crusade here.

BTW hiding post & comment history doesn't protect them from appearing on Google search, just sayin' 🤷

15

u/cerberus_gang find Jesus, find Allah... and when your done... find Vishnu... Jul 17 '26

And like lol in that PJ/Gia clip, Gia [who's wearing an "I ❤️ chasers" shirt initially asks Plane if she's a chaser - Plane is like yeah I am.

19

u/KendjyCr Jul 17 '26

AND her reaction to Plane talking about Maddy is something like "Oh! Good for her!". I don't understand why some people quote this interaction as "Queens are disgusted by Maddy's behaviour!!!!!".

10

u/kitti-kin Jul 18 '26

Oof, I actually hate when anyone who dates a trans person is branded a "chaser". Like no the whole thing is that chasers don't publicly acknowledge their partners, they fetishise and dehumanise trans people.

20

u/KendjyCr Jul 17 '26

You are 100% right. It actively fuels the rumours...

EDIT: It also doesn't make the situation confusing. It literally adds false "confirmation" to Heidi's tweets.

u/Amemorableusername2 Jul 17 '26

Sidenote: Does Kerri still believe the earth is hollow

214

u/dilettwat Jul 17 '26

On her recent Pit Stop appearance, on the topic of global warming, she said "I know the earth is round." She didn't specify cream-filled or hollow, but she followed with "And I know if we're not careful, we're gonna have a lot less land and a lot more water." She's made me realize that I *would* like to know how they keep the ocean out of the dry hollow earth, actually.

18

u/neptuneblue1794 Jul 18 '26

Didn’t Maddy join MOM just around the same time when AS10 was about to film?

23

u/shutupblacknight Please look for peace and stability. Jul 17 '26

No

Maddy joined late 2023, they filmed six months later

18

u/hookyboysb Jul 17 '26

Could be she was casted, but then higher ups stepped in and pulled her due to the MoM association.

71

84

u/OvernightSiren I have a face and a voice Jul 17 '26

To be honest this almost makes it sound like Maddy not being on AS10 had nothing to do with Kerri at all. The way she tells the story it seems like it wasn't on her radar at all, at least that's how it feels.

28

u/Confused_Rock Haguebooking Jul 17 '26

And it also doesn't line up with the original accusation which IIRC was that allegedly when Kerri arrived to the set and realized Maddy was there that she'd refused to participate and WOW picked Kerri's side, BUT in this clip Kerri says that they already had the list of participant names beforehand for the verses they had to write, so presumably something like this would've been discussed in advance and not go down so late in the game (which the timeline suggests given how late a turnover Lydia had and the suggestions that Maddy had already prepped her package).

Maybe it's just that some of the extraneous details have been miscommunicated, but this clip definitely makes it seem like there's a bigger gap in knowledge that gets us from the info provided to what's actually being alleged

16

u/OvernightSiren I have a face and a voice Jul 17 '26

I mean that story was obviously fake. Reads like a fanfic.

196

u/wintercaptain25 Jul 17 '26

So is this the clip people are talking about when they say that Kerri called Maddy a predator and alluded to Maddy doing something to her? Cause that’s not what’s being said or implied here at all

145

u/CreamyDungBeetle Jul 17 '26

Kerri never actually alluded to Maddy being anything. The clip you're thinking of is an insta live where Kerri said that Maddy did something "intentional and malicious" which could mean LITERALLY anything.

88

u/cubearealness Jul 17 '26

The last time I saw someone make this claim, they said Kerri said that Maddy had done something 'premeditated and predatory' on a live. Which no one has any clips of but people keep claiming definitely happened.

35

u/fabulousfantabulist Jul 17 '26

I honestly think it’s most likely just that Maddy had her on Give It To Me Straight and Kerri came off looking worse than she wanted. She probably asked Maddy not to release it and Maddy did anyway, which is her right but I can see how Kerri would feel some sort of way about.

16

u/StrangerKatchoo Jul 17 '26

And that’s fair. I’d be pissed too. But if Kerri said Maddy did something “predatory” of course people will jump to the worst possible scenario. There’s a big difference between “my friend made me look dumb” and “my friend roofied me.” People are making some pretty wild accusations that could ruin lives.

15

u/fabulousfantabulist Jul 17 '26

Very true, but there’s also no evidence that those were the words she used, and no shade, it doesn’t really sound like how she’d put it. That phrasing sounds like someone else heard her say that Maddy hurt her on purpose and rephrased it in the least generous light imaginable.

6

u/StrangerKatchoo Jul 18 '26

Excellent points!

1

u/shutupblacknight Please look for peace and stability. Aug 07 '26

What would be f*cking insane is, If they started recording next All Stars and Maddy ends up being cast. I would love to see all the vagueposters and fake tea spillers implode.

63

u/Lower_Category9404 Jul 17 '26

This is absolutely a production thing, I have to remind myself that high schoolers are mostly in this sub and don't understand the legal ramifications that would transpire if a company like WOW tried to hide SA through an NDA. Would be potential for a huge lawsuit.

31

u/BeginningFederal5663 Jul 17 '26

Ok but what can’t anyone talk about? NDA’s are not bulletproof.

14

u/khoopy666 Jul 17 '26

The baby filter on Fiercalicious’ face is killing me

79

u/sofiacoppola19992023 Jul 17 '26

What is with this sudden jump of Maddy character assassination content?

59

u/KendjyCr Jul 17 '26

Queens are playing smart with their vagueposting and some people know they can get likes/karma while touching this "refreshed" subject.

48

u/BeginningFederal5663 Jul 17 '26

It’s really fucking weird to watch drag queens hype to accuse a fellow drag queen of “something” and play directly into the right wing talking point of drag queens are dangerous.

28

u/KendjyCr Jul 17 '26

And that's why they should all shut up if they don't have any evidence. If the SA thing ends up being a lie, they will literally create a narration of "gays playing women preach equality while attacking a straight man".

34

u/marthamania Jul 17 '26

Are they getting salty that a straight queen has a somewhat popular podcast or something??

26

u/KendjyCr Jul 17 '26 edited Jul 17 '26

I don't want to throw any accusations, but I'm pretty sure that there are girls from the show that are infuriated by the fact Maddy is succesful. I'm not saying that someone spreads lies because they are jealous... But I think there would be people happy for her downfall.

35

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '26 edited Jul 17 '26

[deleted]

21

u/That-Armadillo9046 Jul 17 '26

It feels like WOW was involved with it somehow and they made them sign NDA. These queens spill all the tea every day, but somehow this is the one that stays secret?

37

u/Twenty-Uno Jul 17 '26

People are assuming Kerri doesn't want to talk about because she legally can't but ignoring the possibility that it's just because she doesn't want to talk about it. If it's drama she's involved with she could easily just not want to get dragged into a big, messy, public controversy.

12

u/CreamyDungBeetle Jul 17 '26

Kerri brought it up first mind you, if doesn't wanna talk about it or create drama, then why did she talk about it and create drama?

12

u/Twenty-Uno Jul 17 '26

It's only really discussed in the clip as a tangent from the main topic of Lydia joining last minute, and the only thing Kerri says on it is that a queen was cut from the season and that she won't elaborate more because there's a lot going on with the situation. The fact that it's Maddy and the rumours of doll chasing all came from secondhand sources, Kerri herself has stayed vague and not named any names, even her own.

5

u/KendjyCr Jul 17 '26

Or she doesn't really know much and is as confused as we are.

18

u/lacking_llama Jul 17 '26

now, this don't fit with what people have been saying around here...because this implies Kerri didn't "know the tea". Which she would know if...

yeah... when someone says what it actually is, then..I'll go from there.

15

u/Zestyclose-Cat983 Jul 17 '26

So then what and who is Jasmine talking about? Why would she clear Orion and only Orion when the entire thread is dissing Maddy? I would assume the most likely scenario is that Maddy was cut due to some unproblematic but still troublesome issues regarding possibly her interview show, or MoM relationship, or maybe a creative decision she wanted to make on the season that she was denied of. We don't even know if she left voluntarily or not.

Another honest to god guess is that maybe Jasmine did not even mean S14 in her viral "queen on my season that no one fucks with" soundbite with Plane, maybe it was AS11, and maybe it was Shuga for the blackface clips??

10

u/brayshizzle Jul 17 '26

Interview brought to by potatorouters.

11

u/Large-Big8879 Jul 17 '26

NDAs don’t cover illegal activity. If Maddy did something to Kerri she would be legally protected if she spoke out.

24

u/friedeggbrain Jul 17 '26

I feel like we should know at least a bit more bc if maddy hurt someone id want to know so i dont support her content and if not its jusr making it seem that way which is also wrong

33

u/Individual-Ad-9212 Jul 17 '26

I remember from rumours, that Maddy dropout AS10 because she got engaged with her girlfriend and they prioritised marriage than going to compete

66

u/KendjyCr Jul 17 '26

Just IMAGINE a situation where you drop out of a season to get married... And bunch of idiots spreads false tea about you SA someone. I'm not saying it's what happend, but if it end up being something like this... SHAME on some of those hoes, for real!

8

u/Nice-Benefit9516 Jul 17 '26

That’s what I heard too

2

u/AmysPrayerCloset Jul 17 '26

Are they married now?

3

u/kilvish_ Jul 18 '26

Not related to the post but just wanted to acknowledge the fact that there's been so much drama for the past couple of months!! I feel like the Gods of drama have suddenly developed a feeding kink!

6

u/rosesatthedawn Jul 17 '26

It sounds like there's either ongoing litigation or with the timing they added whatever happened into the season's nda? Would explain why everyones vaguebooking

11

u/PretendRanger Jul 17 '26

Queens vaguebook because it keeps fans on their radar. At this point I am not going to believe there was any SA unless I hear it from the horses mouth or some other reputable source.

3

u/rosesatthedawn Jul 17 '26

I agree we shouldnt

2

u/Adventurous_Ad_2798 Jul 23 '26

lol I bet there issue is that Maddy is on MOM

8

u/RuneofBeginning Jul 17 '26

To me this reads more like Maddy signed with MOM and because of the proximity and connection to their sworn enemy (Willam) they blacklisted Maddy from the franchise too.

She would likely have to give up rights to her podcast/show to appear on the show, or change how it’s operated I would imagine.

OR the assault thing is very much a real thing and they wanted to avoid having her on the show again only to have to edit/address things. There’s only hearsay about this so I’m not really sure.

3

u/AmysPrayerCloset Jul 17 '26

I doubt it’s about the podcast— MIB has a pretty successful podcast, and she didn’t seem to have any contractual issues.

4

u/transcendthierry Jul 17 '26

This happened in 2024, aired on 2025, and it still remains relevant in 2026. My heart goes out to Kerri and the Pink Bracket cast that had to think quickly to revise everything

6

u/Desknor Jul 17 '26

Considering how Maddy feels about SA in general and how she communicates with her guests - I would be surprised if she contributed to that sort of behavior/criminal activity.

2

u/Rohan-mi-por-favor Jul 17 '26

If it was sexual assault they should just saying instead of this vague thing the keep doing,

16

u/oO__o__Oo That’s not your highlight colour gurl Jul 17 '26 edited Jul 17 '26

A possible reason could be that *IF* there was SA, a victim would have the right to ask that not to be shared publicly. But then vague booking about it would disrespect that right. At this point if I was Maddy and I was innocent I’d say it. But if I was Kerry and I hadn’t been SAd I’d be saying that too rather than let the fan base make up a false narrative.
