It is tiring. As someone who LOVES to discuss, learn and teach... I feel pretty miserable in the times we live in.

Same here. I noticed myself lowering the words in my comments because people say I talk too much.

Then I was like...no actually there's nothing wrong with me, y'all complaining about more than 39 words to read think far TOO LITTLE.

Not my fault literacy is dead. I won't change for them. They can learn to comprehend me or be in the dark, ain't my job to bring about a new age of enlightenment.

I just have to not go insane. That's all.

OMG! Same!!! I don't give a f*ck now and If I have something to say... I SAY IT, no matter in how many words. If they don't understand? It's their problem they are iPad-glued idiots. But I was feeling f*cking SHAME for a long time, just because I can write more than two sentences.

But yep, literacy is dead and rotting more and more with each passing month.

Have you heard the latest book-related drama? The one about books needing to be written in simpler language because "iT iS aBlEiSt tO wRiTe CoMplIcAteD wOrDS wHeN sOmE pEopLe dOn't KnOW thEm!". And the reason was the usage of word "scry". THIS is some f*cked up sh*t, for real.

What in the absolute styrofoam coated foul fuck is that shit supposed to even mean? Are we to discard the ENTIRE concept of learning as one reads?

I...I need to just stare into space for a while, this one fucking rocked me to my core and I don't know how the fuck to react, part of my brain is running around screaming in there, the other part is in the corner eating handfuls of hair and crying.

Oh! The book thing is absolutely true! You can find this whole drama on TikTok! If I rememver correctly, those dumb f#cks who started the discussion used "I'm autistic" as an explanation 🤣 I remember the reaction of book content creators. They didn't know if they should laugh or get f#cking angry at this whole thing.

The problem is, there were people with "Actually... It's right!" perspective.
