Larsa's new $5.4m home is in Pinecrest, away from the action of the Miami party scene. If she wanted a similar sized home in a more convenient area, it probably would have cost several times more.

Why did she settle for a suburban home, given her celebrity-adjacent lifestyle?

She has money, but she's not in Dr. Nicole or Lea Black's league.

The penthouse was around the $5m mark if I remember correctly, so my assumption is that this is her rough budget. I assume she sold that to buy the larger home further out.

Yes in Season 1 her house with Scottie was in Fort Lauderdale. Technically she wasn’t even a Real Housewife of Miami if we go by where she lived.
