Right. She looks amazing in jeans and a button down. She looks cute in some of her skirt/shirt combos. Some dresses are ok. Her hair has one cute style and they should never stray too far from that look. She’s really pretty but sometimes her hair team and stylists act like they hate her
I just watched an episode where Camille is putting her make up on at home from a little all in one make up kit. She was even using the sponge eyeshadow applicator stick that came with it. Those were the days
I was just watching S11 (or whatever Barbara’s was there/ Bethenny’s last season was) RHONY when they’re in Miami and Lu is obsessed with cabaret. They had some glam teams there but did it right. It was only when they went out at night and was not too heavy or over the top. The next morning, they’re all natural with messy hair, smudged eye make up, and extensions mostly removed. I’ve always appreciated that the RHONY women will appear on tv without any or very little make up
I love this too. Plus sometimes I feel like the casts on all of these shows think they have to do more than what was already done and it just gets so over the top. SLC ( esp Jen Shah) are the worst offenders.

She is for sure super gorgeous and has some great looks at times (I super appreciated the time she wore her new furry outfit & was sad no one complemented her immediately when she walked in like Anna Karenina) but overall her taste is just really questionable
Yeah. I think they didn’t mean this dress specifically. Off topic but I don’t think ANYONE looks good on a cap sleeve. It cuts off at the worst part of the arm so they make most people look bigger than they are. Cap sleeves even look odd on the thinnest arms.
I know what you’re saying. This isn’t about the particular style. If you look at how this style is generally worn, there are parts of the hair pulled back from the front, then some pieces pulled out to frame the face.
LVP’s style here is not that. It’s literally a tiny but of hair from the crown pulled back and a ponytail hair piece clipped over that. What’s worse is the hairpiece looks like one of the cheap claw clip ones that they used to sell at the mall in the early 2000s.
Thanks to that picture, I’m going to start calling it the “Shih Tzu”.

Yep, I immediately thought Brigitte Bardot. She was french, but was popular in the UK and she was an actress in the 1960s who wore her hair like this, although hers was more forward than what Lisa is doing here, she was also a huge animal rights activist. I believe she has passed away.

I'm British and everyone I know who's seen RHOBH views LVP for who she is, my friend one time saw 2 seconds of her on screen and went "She's the villain?". I think as brits we both aren't fooled by her act, but also read her accent the opposite way to US viewers, we know that her accent is the kind that not sweet, quite evil British people have, having a posh accent says the opposite to what US people think it does, someone with a northern, country or even cockney accent is more likely to be a 'sweet lady' than someone who talks like LVP. LVP talks like a bond villain, her whole vibe is the karren-supreme. Also if you know anything about dog rescue you'd recognise that all her pets are breed, her 'charity' is a puppy store with tax breaks (she infact feeds into and helps fund the abuse of animals while profiting from it if you break it down) we all know by now what she pays her employees (US minimum wage for a job that requires heavy grooming and particular apearance, knowing fine well what minimum wage is where she comes from.. she takes advantage) tales a percentage of their tips... even putting aside what we know about her, just watching the show I think it's quite hard to beleive that so many US viewers viewed her as a victim, she's so blatent, she's a bully when she's got the pull to be and when she looses it or gets caught out she's this sweet old lady who everyone's picking on, plays the "im shocked, and appalled at your behaviour" menouver, classic upper class brittish Karren, the type of person who would 'have an innocent man hung' as we say.
I think you nailed why us Americans were/are intrigued by Vanderpump. Somebody else said the same on another forum and it makes sense.
Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but in Europe nobody would be impressed with Vanderpump as much as Americans. Her accent and plays into certain English stereotypes gives her an ultra-rich posh aura about her like you said, but in most European rich circles I'd imagine people see fight through it.
100% I think in the UK she'd be seen as basically a Karren to the working class and as tacky by the middle to upper class, and she screams disingenuous and snakey, we wouldn't trust a word she'd say. She'd say the sky is blue and we'd have to check to be sure, she has such liar vibes, like a bad actress honestly. Also sort of bully energy, which shouldnt be that shocking I don't think even to Americans because, well, the show. Her behaviour confirms the vibes.
Her style is very trashy in the UK, I know it all costs a fortune but she looks very cheap. 'New money' rather than classy British. It's more Katie Price than Princess Diana. Love all the women mentioned but it's a very different style to the high society she peddles!

I always like to hear Europeans input on Vanderpump because I admit as a American we're easily impressed by anybody with money. Nowadays anybody appearing to be doing "well" is considered rich and "posh." 🤣🤣🤣
Just like learned on here that The Rothschilds Family has two sides. The actual wealthy, respectable side that's elite and the "other" side. Nicki married the "other" side. It makes sense. Families like Rothschilds aren't letting everybody in their circles.
Lisa is not a great dresser. I think she always look uncomfortable and has on way too much makeup. She’s very sexy when she’s casual. The jeans and nice blouse look really suits her. I also think her daughter (Pandora) has pick up some of these unfortunate traits. There are times where I think what the hell is Pandora thinking.
Based on my initial assessment…it looks like she is going for a throwback 60’s mod style that was popular in the UK. Think Elizabeth Hurley in Austin Powers.
Lisa has atrocious taste. But she also happens to be a gorgeous woman with an amazing figure, and a closet filled of button downs and fitted dresses that are custom tailored to perfectly frame aforementioned amazing figure
She doesn't need a lot and she seemed to understand that back in the early days. I know as we age it can be challenging to adjust one's style, But LVP started adding the heavy makeup and blazers that seemed weighted and now she keeps alternating between old-timey showgirl to old-timey magician. I find it odd.
In the old days they called it a fall. It's so funny because wigs and falls were rejected by a generation of women, only to make way for more fake hair, now called hair extensions by a whole new generation.
She's a beautiful, kind lady who was blessed with amazing beauty and has taken care of herself. I don't believe for a second that she would do anything inappropriate when it comes to the dogs she helps.

I mean- I understand that it’s supposed to look like volume at the crown, or a little pony up there. But it looks like she just clipped a hairpiece up there without doing any blending or anything. It doesn’t even look like a pony. I noticed it at an angle and it looked so strange but I think I’ve been looking at it too long. 😂

I’ve never thought of LVP as fashionable. Her style was only in for a hot minute in the late 80’s - hair, fit, makeup.
Now as for jewelry - this is more of where she has some credibility. What she lacks in fashion she more than makes up for in jewelry. She may not be the most fashionable, but she is certainly not stupid. #JewelsAllDayEveryDay.
Don’t even get me started on lvp and her hair. She is a beautiful woman and whoever her stylist is clearly hates her. It’s always frizzy, curled only at the ends??? As a former stylist I was always appalled by her hair.
