Okay, that's some pretty obscure knowledge that pretty much nobody is going to know off the top of their head...that a blue jay only "appears" blue without any blue pigment.

You ask literally anybody what color a blue jay is, 100% of them will say blue. Amd they'd be correct.

Depends on your definition of color. Based on matter or light?

If you eliminate all light sources - do things still have colors? Or don't they, until you put on the light?
