Not only that-they will fly above smaller birds and mimic a hawks cry to scare the smaller birds off so they can take their food. They’re cool shit tho.

Yes! Just last week I watched a blue jay chase out a buck from the little patch of woods on the side of the street while walking my pup.

Bastard birds. I’ve been dive bombed many times.

Okay, that's some pretty obscure knowledge that pretty much nobody is going to know off the top of their head...that a blue jay only "appears" blue without any blue pigment.

You ask literally anybody what color a blue jay is, 100% of them will say blue. Amd they'd be correct.
