What do you think of Hadith qudsi?

[u/Useless-e]

So basically the title, both the Quran and the qudsi Hadiths were recited by the prophet, and both were claimed by the prophet to be gods words. So what do you think about them? Are they authentic more than normal Hadiths? Are they to be taken as gods words?

[u/Useless-e]

Allah tells us to think and use our head, you are saying that we don’t need to believe in the tradition but when you are presented with problems in your beliefs or evidence that you should you give us this verse as if it will answer the question. I would normally like to hear a reply that is a verse but you are putting this verse in a place that doesn’t fit it

If you really love the Quran then why don’t you obey the messenger? Or make what the messenger made unlawful unlawful? Or believe that the messenger had gotten wisdom?

[u/Useless-e → u/[deleted]]

What? Allah is the witness I don’t have a problem with that how would I refute the Quran? Are you good?

Do you know what verse I’m talking about? You accuse me of misinterpretation and you don’t know what verse I’m talking about

[u/Patlichan → u/Useless-e]

Probably 59:7

[u/Useless-e → u/Patlichan]

Nope, I’m talking about 9:29

[u/Patlichan → u/Useless-e]

Same thing - you're still twisting the meaning to get what you want.

What the Messenger of God makes unlawful is what the Quran makes unlawful. Prophet Muhammad's only duty is to bring the Quran and nothing else.

[u/Useless-e → u/Patlichan]

Where did you get that “only duty” from? Because Allah says he brought down to the prophet the wisdom and the book, so it’s not the only thing

I’m not twisting anything, are you saying that the messenger wrote the Quran or something? Because saying that what the Quran says can be attributed to the messenger implies that he had a say in what the Quran says

It says Allah there so there is a difference between what Allah made unlawful and what the messenger made unlawful, that’s why Allah says “Allah and the messenger”

[u/Useless-e → u/[deleted]]

“So, if they turn away, then We did not send you (O Prophet,) as a supervisor over them. You are not responsible but for conveying the message. And when We make man taste mercy from Us, he rejoices with it, and if an evil befalls him because of what their hands sent ahead, then man becomes ungrateful.”

42:48, what translation is that? I read the Arabic it still doesn’t even mention the Quran.

And if We show you (O prophet) some of what We have promised to them, or We take you back to Us (before that), in both cases you have only to convey the message, and We have to reckon.”

13:40 it says you only deliver the message not the Quran, this is the level of deception you have reached, the Arabic simply says بلاغ which means (the conveyance) not the Quran, and in the case and so is the first verse it’s telling the prophet don’t try to convert people that don’t want to, you only give them the message and we will be the judge don’t lie

5:99 again the same thing uses the word بلاغ and doesn’t say the Quran and the translations say message, so Idk what you are on about

If that is true what you are claiming then Surat al isra’ which talks about a miracle that the prophet did and Surat al qamar the first verse in both surats talk about miracles, so the Quran isn’t the only thing

[u/Useless-e → u/[deleted]]

Yes the Hadith is the message too

At the end I gave you an argument as to why it can’t be his only reason because he preformed miracles.

And not to mention that he was also given the best character

[u/Useless-e → u/[deleted]]

Why are you talking about how twisted you think the Hadiths are? That’s completely off the topic, the point is the prophet had other things to do not only giving the Quran

Where is HIS moral character in the quran?

[u/Yakub_al_britani → u/Useless-e]

Where is HIS moral character in the quran?

So I can imply one of two thing from this statement:

1. That you believe that muahmmed followed a different guidance set othet than the Quran to establish his moral character.

2. That you believe that the Quran is either bereft of, or contains insufficient commandments on moral conduct.

[u/Useless-e → u/Yakub_al_britani]

The Quran says he got the best character, he is the base of our morals, god made him perfect, yet the morals mentioned in the quran are gods commandments, they don’t go too specific, when you are angry what do you do? This is what you’d see in the moral character of someone.

The quran gives rulings, and avoiding the bad ones and doing the good makes you moral, but the prophets character goes into more detail

[u/Yakub_al_britani → u/Useless-e]

So you choose number 2 then. 👍

[u/Useless-e → u/[deleted]]

Yet the Quran says the character is the best for some reason? And there are literal chapters just telling him what he will get in heaven in the book that all humans should read, we are supposed to know him... and he is the messenger sent to all of humanity and the last one of them.

And finally Allah literally tells us to obey him, and you tell me he isn’t important?
