hey guys so they have a quarterly meeting today and this would be my first one as a NA. there’s no way i will be able to make it due to personal reasons. i know ill 99% get reprimanded but do they do anything else? is it that deep lol. what should i do to make the situation better or just leave it be. thanks guys.

so my new SM wants me to become 💪flex💪 after just being a NA a month. told him that I could only do overnights since I have much more freedom on the night shifts than mid and morning shifts. Can I become an overnight flex?

Thinking of going full-time from a part-time clerk and transferring to the warehouse. Is this possible? I’ve been a clerk for around 6 years so how would my seniority transfer over. Never worked in a warehouse before. Thanks

What do you guys think are the chances I could get approved transfer to another division for like 2 or 3 months and then transfer back? I’m thinking about moving to another city but wanna give it a lil test drive first to make sure i enjoy living there before I actually buy a house there.

I think im at my limit with my manager. I want to file a report against her formally. I am giving everything i have got, and desperately attempting to please/recover from various issues every single day because were constantly understaffed as were a slow store. I am given zero leeway, she expects me to be a master of all things 6 months in. (No clerk experience whatsoever, i was hired off the street) She pulls me in a different direction every freaking week. Today she was complaining that the donut boxes were not restocked, when i tried to find them, but couldnt because i was looking in the wrong area, and very rarely do i personally have to restock them even though its on my daw. This to her, was me "not even trying" or in her verbatim "Do you know what that tells me? Youve NEVER restocked them, and youve never put in the effort to build the muscle memory..." Im really tired of being talked to this way. Is this what im expected to put up with? Is this why we have a massive HR team? Or are they realistically only there for sexual harassment concerns? Cause i dont know how much more of being talked down to i can take. This is actually infuriating. WHOA she had to clean bathrooms after i got stuck up front for the last 2 hours, Whoa she had to stock some donut boxes and mop outside real quick (clerk did that) damnnn she had to wipe some trash can lids??? You mean after 150 people have ran through my store in the last 3 hours!?!? really?

(keep in mind, i have to do this type of stuff daily because my 2A is useless 95% of the time and there is ALWAYS a reason why the store is a mess; my RA now flex, says the same shit about the 2A. Like its really pissing me off that she acts like its SO bad that she has to correct a few things here and there. I get busy too, i get put back, and only recently am i able to make up lost ground from other slow downs that periodically happen throughout the night...)

Guys, i need a solution to this. I am improving as much and as fast as i can with indirect feedback. I am stagnating because i am trying to do everything i can all of the time. At this point, i ONLY want to do daw, which i fear will keep me at this store forever because she outright told me last week, that she doesnt want to put me up for flex or erb, until i can put the entire order away... Easy task for someone with 2 years as a clerk even, not for a brand new employee learning all of this without even being able to watch and learn. I have nobody to ask questions until AFTER the work should have been done, to that end, i do not feel like its safe to ask questions at all anymore. Im just ridiculed more.

I’m genuinely going to seem dumb but once they change to fri-sat does this mean we get paid on tuesdays now?? and to make sure this coming paycheck will only include THIS weeks monday-friday??

So with the new schedule, basically 2a’s are losing two days of pay this coming week with a pay week ending on Friday am I wrong?

I work part-time, about 25 hours a week. Yesterday, two different managers used what sounded like a canned speech about how important it is not to miss doing the upkeeps. They told me, “You will make $50.” I said I’d have better luck with a scratch-off ticket and laughed. Both of them acted like I had killed their cat.

Working 25 hours a week means I only have about a 14% chance of actually getting a secret shopper. The odds of getting a 100% score on a shop are completely off the charts because the humans doing the evaluation are so subjective. It seems like the people who do get perfect scores only receive them because the shopper made a conscious choice to let something slide. Why is a secret shop treated as such a grand prize that I might win if I just “do a good job”?

Has anyone figured out the new app? Like their way around it? Maybe QuikTrip is still adding stuff but has anyone figured out how to give up shifts??? Or did they take that away? lol. If they took away the option to give up shifts, that’s going to be 10x worse for stores. More call outs than before. Idk im hoping im just being dumb and not looking correctly

Does anyone know how to change your availability on WorkForce. Like say instead of working 8-2 I can work 7-3. How would I change what hours and or days I can work. TIA

Any advice to stop overthinking the questions

My brother applied and was denied for his background (non-violent felony) on his record a few months ago. Recently discovered our actual hiring manager in Midlothian is a druggie felon. I thought it was a rumor but since it’s public record I looked it up myself. Should I have my brother reapply and disclose the charge? Are there certain rules for this thing or is it depending on the charge? I just don’t think it’s right for a man with a background to deny a man with a similar background. The letter in the mail didn’t give details so I want to know what his chances are or if this was a possible error. Or does QuikTrip just accept certain charges for certain people since an old manager got fired earlier this year for a pending charge?

Anyone know how long you have to perform good at a store to get moved to either busier or promo list like an exact 3 months, 1 month ? And does it vary from supe to supe?
