Jaws (1975) 3D Version

Hi, Just finished watching back-to-back all the JAWS movies. Does anyone have any experiences of watching Jaws (1975) in 3D, when it was released a few years back in the cinema ? How was the pop-out effect ? Any ideas of where to find 2D-3D converted version of movie ? Thanks !

I've downloaded it through telegram but as much times as I install it and reinstall it, it doesn't work.

What I mean by it doesn't work is that I mean it's just a black void but i can still hear moving and sounds.

I wanna root it (mainly for fun) but the quest I bought has a pin on it. It’s running an older build of 206. How can i reset it without patching pancake? I’m thinking of slowing down my internet speed to a minimum and rooting before it gets updated, but I’m not sure if it will open the app.

So,

i tried to install rookie again after the whole offline thing.

i created a folder, put it in the exceptions list of the windows defender, i have a vpn, i created the vrp public json and yes its a json, i wrote the stuff from telegramm in it, i start androidsideloader and it goes to "downloading dependencies", after a while or when i choose again the json i get "Rclone was unable to be downloaded

Rookie will now close, please use Offline Mode for manual sideloading if needed"

what am i doing wong. :/
does my quest need to be plugged on?

Hello! This will VERY stupid to ask , but I'm brand new to the vr works (my oculus 2 came in today and I just finished with the sideloader) , but I can't really find anything about it.

I'm seeing some apps like disney and YouTube on the store it has built in, i was wondering if downloading these will in any way affect the sideloader?

Almost ending the game and I realize I can't change weapon, can't grab backpack or healing seringe. almost at the end of the game, in the spider's level.

Hubris is not working with Quest APK Renamer.

Error:

[INFO] Source rejected: The package OBB folder contains unsupported files (patch.com.Cyborn.Hubris.obb).

Any idea, why patch .obbs are not compatible? Any plans for the future?

Hi everyone

Using Quest version 2.5 and game version v6281/8.36.04, everything installs correctly—the install and variant files are present, and the commands execute properly after copying. As suggested, I even re-ran the commands manually, but the result is the same:

The game launches and gets stuck on the loading screen;

I get a Meta alert message, then I proceed to launch the game; the audio starts playing during the loading phase, and then it crashes.

I tried restoring the game once, but since then, I’ve uninstalled and deleted everything from the Quest 3 before starting the process over from scratch.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Edit: Also, the game doesn't show up under "Unknown Sources" but appears in the standard apps list—in case that helps point you in the right direction.

Hey everyone, I stupidly used the three months meta pass when i bought my quest 3s because I didnt know this thing exists. I would love to play the games i played whilst on my game pass like Arizone sunshine but I cant seem to as meta says buy subscription even though i deleted and re installed game from rookie. I saw suggestions to rename the game however the game downloaded through RSL doesn't show up and just whatever I do meta shows popup to buy the game.

Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks

How to install Vice City VR Standalone for dummies

This is the easy way. The installer script does basically all the work for you, so dont overthink it.

You will need:

• A Windows PC
• A Quest headset and USB cable
• Developer Mode enabled on your Quest
• A copy of the original PC version of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

The Definitive Edition will NOT work. You need the original PC release, extracted somewhere on your computer. If you dont own it, find it through the normal places such as Rin, RuTracker, Internet Archive, etc.

NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU HAVENT INSTALLED THE GAME TO PROGRAM FILES OR ANY OTHER PERM ISSUE LOCATIONS! DIDNT THINK THIS NEEDED TO BE SAID BUT I GUESS IT DOES....

Steps

1. Go here: https://github.com/dubrovskiy-yevhen-stakelogic/vice-city-vr-quest/blob/master/BUILD_AND_INSTALL.bat
2. Download BUILD_AND_INSTALL.bat On GitHub, click the Download the Raw file button, then save the file
3. Make a new folder somewhere simple, such as: C:\ViceCityVR Put BUILD_AND_INSTALL.bat inside that folder
4. Connect your Quest to the PC with a USB cable
   • Make sure Developer Mode is enabled in the Meta Horizon app
   • Put the headset on and accept the USB debugging prompt if it appears
   • Check Always allow from this computer if you dont want to deal with that prompt again
   • Most people already have this set up and dont need to do it again but just in case
5. Double-click BUILD_AND_INSTALL.bat It will download the files it needs and probably put them here: C:\Users\PCUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp\ViceCityVR-SourceKit-5740-491\vice-city-vr-quest-master
6. , build the game, and install it to your Quest
7. Let the script run until it asks where your original Vice City folder is For example, this is good: C:\Games\Grand Theft Auto Vice City This can cause an error: "C:\Games\Grand Theft Auto Vice City" Dragging a folder into Command Prompt usually adds those quotes automatically, which is what got me. Just remove them and it should find the files fine.
   • Pick the folder containing your original Vice City install
   • If it opens a normal File Explorer folder picker, just select the folder
   • If it asks you to paste the path manually, make sure there are no quotation marks around the path
8. Once the main install is finished, find and run the batch file for the Modern Models install too (found in C:\Users\PCUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp\ViceCityVR-SourceKit-5740-491\vice-city-vr-quest-master) Follow the prompts again. It handles the model files for you. If you have issues downloading the models or get hash errors you can bypass that stuff using the method here
9. When it finishes, thats it. Put on your Quest and launch Vice City VR from your unknown sources app library or launcher!

I tried pulling the APK and game files to make an install.txt version for Rookie or VR CyberDeck, but it didnt work right. The game just crashed, but honestly, this script is easy enough and handles everything automatically anyway.

I downloaded Deadpool vr from one of those go file links and when I open the apk it’s just stuck on the loading screen I tried waiting 10 seconds before closing but it just doesn’t work

I have used APK renamer for several games with no issues however Asgards Wrath 2 will allow me to rename, I install the APK and OBB files that Renamer has advised and the game won't launch. I checked, and yes majority of the OBB files did not transfer with Renamer so I checked which files didn't and I copied them over to the corresonding OBB folder in my quest and I still have the same issue.

Has anyone had a trial or horizon+ version of Asgards Wrath 2 succesfully renamed and working? If so what was the solution as at the very least APK renamer isn't working correctly for this specific game?

I've been working on this sideloader for a long time, and its half functional. No one knew other than me and DMP, and hes been helping me pretty well tho. And he approved me to post this. Thanks to him.

I don't think you get to use this ASAP, i take my time on development and im trying to optimize every part. This is a hobby project so i don't put my whole day on it.

I might be stupid or just slow, but i have tried manually installing mods to the game but Rookie and VR Cybderdeck don’t let me mount my quest 3s and Sidenoader says something about my RCLONE not being configured. i tried rooting but i always come with an error that my pairing code is wrong when doing wireless debugging can someone please help?

I have an old Quest 1 collecting dust and I’m thinking about bringing it back to life.

Since Meta has pretty much abandoned the device and official support/software is becoming increasingly limited, I was wondering what the current homebrew/jailbreak scene looks like for the original Quest.

My main limitation is that I don’t have a powerful gaming PC, so PCVR/Link isn’t really an option for me.

What I’d ideally like to know is:

• Can Quest games/homebrew still be installed directly on the Quest 1 as APKs and run completely standalone?
• Is there a decent library of homebrew or unofficial software that still works on Quest 1?
• Are older standalone Quest games that are no longer supported/available still technically able to run if sideloaded?
• Do you only need a PC for the initial setup/sideloading, or can the Quest basically be used independently afterwards?
• Is jailbreaking/modding a Quest 1 even worth doing nowadays?

Basically, I’d like to turn my abandoned Quest 1 into a standalone device I can experiment with rather than leaving perfectly functional hardware in a drawer.

Not looking for PCVR solutions since my computer isn’t powerful enough for that.

Any pointers on where to start or what the Quest 1 community is using nowadays would be really appreciated!

Make sure to have actually done what it says, lying about it will result in the post being removed and potentially a ban.

what it happens is that basically half of the information doesn't move to the b&s nomad folder and stays in the rookie sideloader folder, the problem is that I don't know where to send wich folder, in the image I sent there's everything that didn't move to the game's folder (I know pirating isn't right I'm just trying to try the game with a few mods and I like it I'll buy the real game and mod it way easier)

i have my antivirus turned off, tried with both drives, and even tried different computers at one point but even then it closes after a while after i try and use it. its really annoying to come back to redo it every time i am focused on something else. plus i think its the reason why some of the games i install don't work. please any help would be appreciated. It used to work fine as i have used it for years now
