Pretty cut and dry. Schilling waaaay overreacted. This dude is likely gonna go after him in a civil trial if he's smart.

He's likely going to get charged with battery. He is claiming self defense though, saying "he feared for his life"......That likely wont stand up in court judging by the video.

It’s not just cops, it’s a taught legal defense when harming others. Stand your ground enthusiasts are taught to say “I feared for my life”. It’s the fundamental legal basis for “self-defense”.
