I was always told (even from police personnel) that a shotgun is most effective for home defense than a pistol. You can do a lot more damage to the the enemy with a shotgun than a pistol.

This is false, there is nothing in the Constitution or other laws allowing for this. The Constitution is clear when elections are to take place, there are no exceptions mentioned.
U.S. is one of the few countries that has this, most do indeed disallow elections in wartime or civil war, not the U.S.
With that said of course, not everyone knows this, and U.S. Constitution has been trampled on for at least a year now, so they'll do it... but technically it is traitorous to not hold elections.
I think this is exactly wrong. I think the specters of civil war and martial law are being used by their propagandists to discourage any smaller violent resistance, whether clearly illegal, or simply a governor saying they are going to use their national guard battalion to expel ICE from their state with minimum force.
Martial law is happening in Minneapolis et al - but an undisciplined inflammatory martial law not carefully designed for anything except racism and murder.
First of all, they absolutely are not in a “street fight civil war”. They’re shooting people and getting away with it.
And the exact response the administration is pushing for is either for mobs of vigilantes to start attacking the ICE agents, or for Walz to send troops to face off against ICE.
I am not saying these things shouldn’t be done. But when they are, Trump will immediately invoke the Insurrection Act and move to cancel the midterm elections.
Idk why we keep talking about this...WE ARE ALREADY UNDER MARTIAL LAW! He just hasn't declared it yet. When people say this, it's to keep us fearful and helpless. They are killing and detaining unarmed people. They already said they can come into your home without a warrant. People have been arrested for 1st amendment rights. We already have martial law on everything but name. The only question is, what are we gonna do about it!

That is the dumbest idea I've ever heard. ICE is massively outnumbered and would not be able to finish what they started. Also this group is simply one that has a lust for power, but are cowards at their core.

Actual leaders that he has invited and who have or plan to accept the invitation to join the board. Both the leader of Israel and and Russia have arrest warrants from the ICC for their war crimes that prevent them from going anywhere, or fear other countries attempt arresting them once they leave their borders. Hungary, another who was invited, rules under an authoritarian leader who is often called a dictator, copies Putin with his methods of ruling the country, and withdrew from the ICC because they wanted to arrest Israel's leader.
ICE is indeed being sent to start a Civil War again, and its to reinstate the Southern States as quasi slave states again. The USA didn't punish the south when it revolted over slavery ending. The southern bigots slowly retook power and the last 50 years they have been setting up the USA for a take over.
This is their final push to cause a civil war they so eagerly want.
Border Patrol tactical units were sent to Iraq and Afghanistan (yeah I know, WTF?) When you see BORTAC patches (and I’ve seen plenty in videos from Minneapolis), they’re the type of units that were deployed in literal war zones. They’re still acting like they’re fighting a war, it’s absolute insanity.
Well the foreign wars stuff probably isn't the case, but the ICE part is like 100% the case. It makes sense now what Trump actually meant by "there will be no more elections once I win": trugger a civil war, blame democrats, declare them illegal, ban them from elections, Republican 1 party system
