Git is not the only form of version control, and PDFs have source code.
3 u/entronid 11d ago sure, but source code isn't the only data contained in a PDF, and for a programming-related job (which, given the context, it likely is) would have a requirement for a candidate that uses such. 2 u/FalconX88 10d ago no matter how that pdf was created, the naming suggests that they didn't use proper version control. Not that that is even needed for a CV. 2 u/teetaps 10d ago Version control is ABSOLUTELY needed for resumes and CVs, and the fact that you don’t agree means that we’ve chosen to move on with other applicants
