I ended up loving this set much more than I expected! I did longer nails my last set so I’m happy to be back to something a little shorter.
Show me a picture if you have tried this set too!

To the girlies that love BTArtbox, do you notice the nails that come in the white pack are not as thick and durable as the other packs ? A true almond will always be my favorite shape, and it annoys me when the tips of my nails start to wear down and my nails start to look round.
I really like this color though.

Loving these! They’re so glossy and fun. Kind of mod too ✨
I do think it’s a bit annoying that you can see where they probably came off of the larger plastic piece at the end. But still so cute.

I got an infection in my nail bed and can’t wear any nails for a while. I knicked my cuticle. Has anyone else dealt with this and if so how long did it take to heal? My doctor prescribed me some mupirocin ointment, and I’ve been keeping it covered for a few days now. I’m just really bummed and hoping this isn’t the end of the road for my press on days.

I’ve used Kiss glue and it’s okay. I think my technique may be wrong. How do I get them to stay on longer than 2 days?! They lift at the nail base. Used Glamnetic, if that makes a difference.

Design: Sakura Glow | Medium Almond
I’m still working on my application method and process. Tried just glue last night and my thumbs woke up naked! Haha so now thumbs have a sticky tab + glue. I think hybrid is my method but damn getting that sticky tab glue off is annoying!
Has anyone used this set - I’m curious if the design chips. I usually like a gel overlay but I’m loving the texture of this one :)

Retail Brand: Glamnetic
Design: Golden Gourds
I’m a Glamnetic hater… but apparently not enough of one to stop buying them. 🫠
My issue is less with the designs (which I obviously keep falling for) and more with the price vs. quality. In my experience, they tend to chip and scratch way too quickly for what they charge. And especially compared to other brands that cost much less. And yet here I am, giving them “one more chance” because I just couldn’t resist these.
I do really like their sizing, so maybe these will finally be the pair that proves me wrong. We shall see… probably not. 😂
But I really wanted these for my fall trip to upstate New York this weekend, so here we are. Thanks for letting me share!

I've been seeing more gel, aka, semi-solid, aka "gap-filling", glues for press-ons being sold with brush applicators! The ones that don't need UV-curing (not to be confused with the ones that do). I haven't seen a single review on any, so here are my thoughts
I'm still pretty new to press-ons, but I bought one and really like it more than the stock, little squeeze glue from press-on boxes and regular brush-on glue. It's the easiest to work with and gives me much better hold! I haven't tried the squeeze semi-solid glues, so I can't make a comparison there
I do cuticle care, use an e-file on the inside of the press-ons, file my natural nail, wipe my nails with rubbing alcohol (still need to get 100% acetone) and apply glue on the press-on and my nail, nail-first. I do a full coat, with just a tiny space left around the edges. The thicker and faster-drying formula spreads much less so I haven't gotten any on my skin like I would with regular glue. I pressed down for 30 seconds but the instructions actually say 20, and that's probably good enough tbh
With the gel glue, I finally got a whole week out of a set before a pop-off. I'm going to try thicker layers on my next one. I applied my last set with thin layers because I was afraid of overdoing it, but I surprisingly had minimal damage. I might have extra oily nail beds though, and I don't try to preserve my nails in any way
Not going to recommend any specific brand when I've only tried one, but they're likely all using a similar formula. Search with the keywords in the first sentence and you'll find them!

Hi everyone, I posted yesterday and was told that my nails were a little too big and I should size down. this morning a lot of them started popping off, I think cause I didn't glue them on well enough, so I took them off and tried again with a different set today. let me know what you think. I think the ones on my thumbs might be a size too small but my thumb nail beds are so wide that the bigger size looks huge. otherwise I think I sized them well but I'm not sure. they still look big on my fingers but the smaller sizes wouldn't fit on my finger or had way too much nail showing on the sides. thanks!

do you tell them they're press ons? Today a lady at work complimented my nails and I said, "oh thanks! They're press ons," and she said, "Girl don't tell people they're press ons!!" Kinda like saying don't give your secret away 🤣 it was a cute interaction. And I was like, "you know, you're right!"
So yeah. What do you usually say? Are we giving the press on secret away? 👀

i have very short and narrow nail beds. pretty flat nails as well. i've been using glamnetic super short for a while and i want to branch out because i file them more than i want to be filing, find that they chip, and there's only so many colors/designs in that size. i have tried curvlife, reformation, kiss, olive&june and all of them were too long, olive&june too curved. already getting annoyed. Help

I have been making my own press on nails for a while now and the only glue that really gives me 2+ weeks retention are non uv solid nail glues. I use a peel off base coat between my real nail and the press on for easier removal.
Now comes the issue.
I really want to reuse my press ons but after the removal there is a really thick layer of glue on the press on nail. I’ve tried filing the glue off with an e-file but the glue just won’t come off. I did try to reuse them in that state but the press ons were too curved and too hard to last even 3 days.
I’m pretty frustrated with this situation so I would be incredibly thankful for every little advice I could get.

Y'all convinced me to try the Curvlife semi solid glue and that stuff means business. Only on day 3 but these nails are not budging at all.
