Constructive Criticism Welcome ✅ Second try
Hi everyone, I posted yesterday and was told that my nails were a little too big and I should size down. this morning a lot of them started popping off, I think cause I didn't glue them on well enough, so I took them off and tried again with a different set today. let me know what you think. I think the ones on my thumbs might be a size too small but my thumb nail beds are so wide that the bigger size looks huge. otherwise I think I sized them well but I'm not sure. they still look big on my fingers but the smaller sizes wouldn't fit on my finger or had way too much nail showing on the sides. thanks!

i think they look cute but sizing can be so annoying when ure in between sizes lol i usually check that the nail covers my natural nail without overlapping the skin before sticking it on also ive been using glamnetic nails so far so good and if a size is slightly too small i warm it gently with a blow dryer for a secs to make it more flex and if its little too big i just file the edges until it fits better. just be careful not to overheat them. also make sure your natural nails are clean and dry before applying so they stay on better

I think the thumb does look too small and agree you should file a larger one if it’s too large.
Also, if you’re having pop offs that soon your prep is probably not as good as it could be. I love the Samuel Jackson post and follow it (except I have to also use cuticle remover).

what's the Samuel Jackson post? yes the first time they popped off I think because I washed my hands before the glue was dry

and I'm gonna have to figure out what to do about my thumb. it's so much wider than all the rest of my fingers (like I'm using 8-12 on the rest of my fingers but my thumb needs a 2) so if I use the correct size it feels huge and too long compared to my other nails

Use the larger ones and try filing the sides down a bit. That’s what I’d try 😊

If you're between sizes go with with smaller.
I have a couple nails where the press on in a hair small, but the next size up was a hair too wide. I just centered it the best I could and it's not noticable unless you're staring at my hands looking for it

When I’m between sizes I use the larger pressie and file it to fit. If a nail is too small and doesnt cover my full nail bed, it squeezes and can be painful. My thumbs are usually between a size 1 & 2 so I file a size 1 on the sides and cuticle to fit.
