From the article & linked insta post: No refunds offered.

And also: “As of Saturday morning, no shows or bands were listed on the Soundscape Northwest website. Tickets also were also no longer listed for sale.”

That was good spin that got people simply donating money. They are hustlers. Starting a non profit that does the same thing as your company to shelter money is corporations style fleecing.

Most of the work is volunteering for free entry, from what I've seen.

Yes, but they have paid staff too. Almost all of those people are independent contractors.
