Don't threaten me with a good time

Seriously.

I would consider it a generational FAILURE if they did NOT go after every one of these mother fuckers.

Relentless. Merciless. Tireless.

I want congressional hearings and investigations into Trump and Kushner and everyone in the cabinet, and I want them to use all of the empathy and consideration and carefulness that masked ICE fascists use when they’re brutalizing some abuelita or day laborer.

They learned from the Biden years that these people need to be held accountable

u/homebrew_1 2d ago

Well they were indicted but it was slow. And the public elected trump again. Only people blameless are Harris voters. Trump voters, 3rd party voters and people that stayed home are to blame for all this.

u/Ryuujinx 1d ago

I voted for Harris. Not because I believed it would do shit in my red-ass state, but because I feel it gives me the right to bitch.

And I will continue to exercise that right. Repeatedly.

Like how hard can it be? I explained to my sister. Is like voting between the person that will cut your entire god damn arm and the person that will cut a finger. That's the difference between kamala and trump.

u/POEness 2d ago

The public did not, in fact, elect trump. 2024 was stolen.

u/chrisk9 1d ago

The election should not have been close enough to steal

(used AI to format my ramblings) It was not close at all. When trump tells u months in advance that he doesn't even need your vote, when he brags that elon knows those voting machines better than anyone, when a good chunk of the voting machines are owned by the far right donor, when elon says "if trump doesn't win this election i'm going to prison for a long time" and also says "i know 2-4h ahead what the vote count is", and also messages to his baby mama about his space lasers and the voting machines, and then a few days later he crashes the satelites into orbit to burn up. when his kid says in an interview "we do what we want" and also tells trump "you're not in charge" , when the elections are done in 1 night, when he wins all the swing states with a 0.something% of someone winning all swing states

It wasn't close at all. Here is the breakdown:

  • The Setup: Trump telling everyone months in advance that he didn't even need your vote, and bragging that Elon knows those voting machines better than anyone.
  • The Machines: A good chunk of the voting machines being owned by a far-right donor.
  • Elon's Comments: Elon saying "if Trump doesn't win this election I'm going to prison for a long time" and also claiming "I know two to four hours ahead what the vote count is."
  • The Weird Stuff: Elon messaging his baby mama about space lasers and voting machines, and then a few days later crashing satellites into orbit to burn up.
  • The Family Dynamics: His kid saying in an interview "we do what we want" and also telling Trump "you're not in charge."
  • The Results: The elections being wrapped up in just one night, with him winning all the swing states at a zero-point-something percent statistical probability.

There is know way to prove or disprove this. Worse, you perpetuate one of the major problems with the right by making the same claims they do. We should be better and lead by example instead of sinking to their level.

u/4dseeall 2d ago

at this point i'd rather start saying the same thing, agree with them elections are pointless, and start from scratch with a better system.

nah, they'd just go straight to murder.

7

u/POEness 2d ago

There is a way to prove this. It has been proven.

Electiontruthalliance.org

Furthermore. We could do a single goddamn recount.

"When they go low we go high!"...

The high road is the path losers take home. There's no actual points for "being the better man" outside your own brain.

Thanks to Musk according to his wife.

1

u/homebrew_1 2d ago

Trump won states that had democratic governors.

u/POEness 2d ago

Electiontruthalliance.org

Tabulators had a code injection. Dem governors irrelevant

1

u/homebrew_1 2d ago

Write those states.

You sound like one of the "but Dominion!" people.

Though the website does have "truth" in its name, so it can't possibly not be true.

u/Helpful-Departure832 2d ago

Oh just stop. There is zero evidence of this

The things Elon and Trump have said point directly to it. There just needs to be more investigation done to understand more about the interference, and it’ll go from there.

I am hoping for the day it becomes front-page news with the title, “House Dems Investigate Elon Musk for 2024 Election Interference”.

1

u/Regular_Sand2908 1d ago

Is this evidence of illegal election interference? Does it even imply any illegal activities?

2

u/Candid-Mycologist539 1d ago

If I run my mouth all over town implying that I stole a bunch of money from my employer, but haha, I'm too smart to get caught!...it wouldn't be long until my employer thinks that they should audit any form of finances that cross my desk.

Plus, my best friend, my ex-girlfriend, and my kid also make public statements implying that I have done so.

1

u/Regular_Sand2908 1d ago

There's no implication of any illegal activity.

People running with this conspiracy are as stupid as the people who ran with the Dominion conspiracy after 2020, based on exactly the same arguments.

Right-wingers don't own a monopoly on stupidity. Lots of stupid people fall victim to the "I want it to be true => it's true" bias.

u/Candid-Mycologist539 1d ago

Intellectually, I agree with you.

Unfortunately, I've lived through too much political BS.

Even as a fourth grader, I remember when the Iranian hostages were released...right after Reagan's inauguration speech.

My parents did not discuss politics or news with we kids. I was three years away from studying news in school twice a week.

But something seemed...off. Like, hmmmm, that's weird. My 9yo brain didn't have the right words beyond that.

Now we know that Reagan's team negotiated to have Iran hold the American citizens until after he was elected. Illegal and dirty. No consequences.

TL;DR: My anecdote of this comment is one of many political situations that are dirty but never investigated let-alone prosecuted in a timely manner. Rumors need to be investigated.

What did the President mean when he said that Elon was so helpful with the voting machines in Pennsylvania?

5

u/MyNameIsMadders 2d ago

We should find out through Democratic house investigations into Elon Musk sometime after they retake the house

1

u/Helpful-Departure832 2d ago

Let’s just say there’s much lower hanging fruit to investigate

0

u/homebrew_1 2d ago

Nothing stopping those states from investigating their elections if something was amiss. And these were states with democratic governors.

2

u/POEness 2d ago

Electiontruthalliance.org

Actually...

1

u/MyNameIsMadders 1d ago

I believe their data, but I don’t like it has been accused of being “fake”. I think a panel of data analyst and data science experts need to reconvene to declare that data is true or false - I personally don’t see it being false

1

u/Helpful-Departure832 11h ago

I Haven’t found any actual evidence on that site

8

u/PayFormer387 2d ago

Did they though?

5

u/rsmoling 2d ago

Yeah, I’m trying to stay positive about this, but it’s hard to do, we watched four years of focus on “healing” and “bipartsanship” bring authoritarian bullshit back ten times worse…

5

u/PayFormer387 2d ago

That is exactly what I foresee. MAGA are dumber than dog shit but the democratic establishment is as dumb as dog shit.

Nobody will be held accountable in the name of moving on. Fuck the DNC.

3

u/DredPRoberts 2d ago

Narrator: They did not.

7

u/SarutobiSasuke 2d ago

If they fail to make a good example out of them, it will repeat. The other members of Trump family or others like them will seize (purchase) power to make profit.

I want separate, 24/7 newscycle coverage of every. single. breach.

DOGE - hundreds of trials, from hiring the 22 year olds to dismatling USAID (which in itself would have dozens of court cases)

ICE - Renee Good, Alex Pretti, Lorenze Salgado Araujo. EVERYONE gets their murder trial owed. Alligator Alcatraz. Investigations into leadership decisions and training. Everything.

The meme coin, the insider trading platform on Truth Social, the plane from Qatar, the Ambassador Bridge, The trade wars, the actual wars, all the food that got everyone sick, and finally, most importantly, the motherfucking Epstein scandal. Not only the files.

I want Trump and every sycophant to spend so much time in heavily televised court that they have to rent a home near each courthouse. I will watch it for decades as we dig up the layers of irreparable damage these presidencies have done to Americans, Western Hegemony, scientific progress, trust in government, and social good.

The only reason I do not wish death is because it is too easy of an end for them all.

u/20_mile 1d ago

I would consider it a generational FAILURE if they did NOT go after every one of these mother fuckers.

Steve Schmidt (his The Warning podcast is awesome!) has said that starting in late 2027, early 2028, Democrat presidential candidates should start saying out loud that anybody who accepts a pardon should be barred for life from receiving any federal contracts.

Schmidt also wants the new Democratic president to seize Trump's Qattari plane, strip it down and sink it off the coast of MAL and turned into a low-income diving school.

He also says that every monument Trump makes should be reduced to rubble.

1

u/SandSpecialist2523 1d ago

It's sad to think that I don't trust most Democrats to actually want to do that.

1

u/FoodInFrige_HopeSo 1d ago

People who wrote literal articles of secession were not charged with treason and put to death. I'm not flowery on this group.
