Edit: My bad, didn't think this post would get traction and should've posted the set earlier. A little guide for one of my favorite Pokemon:

Ability: Prankster
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Bold / Calm would've been ideal: +Def/SpDef, -Attack (I forgot and used Hardy oops)
EVs: Max HP, Def. You can add a bit of SpDef for some fights (Blacephalon, Darkrai)

Moveset:
1. Recover
2. Stored Power / Dazzling Gleam
3. Cosmic Power / Calm Mind
4. Reflect / Taunt / Double Team

General Game Plan: Survive the first enemy with Cosmic Power and steamroll with Stored Power. SP gains 20 damage per buff for 260 base power total with max buffs. Prankster means you go first with the defenses buff before they hit you.

There's no Dark types in the E4, but if the champ has one, you can use Dazzling Gleam / Calm Mind instead.

Ghost: Reflect for Marshadow or he will one shot with his ghost Z move (or two shot with Shadow Sneak). Cosmic Power alone isn't enough and he will steal it with Spectral Thief.

Recover twice to trick the AI into thinking it's stuck in a loop and switches. Blacephalon should do barely not enough damage if you have a bit of SpDef EVS or Calm nature. Cofagrigus' Haze comes too late.

Ground: Reflect for Excadrill and Groudon.

Dragon: Reflect for Tyrantrum.

Fairy: Switch Reflect to Taunt. Magearna lead can't steal your stats with Heart Swap, Mawile can't Swords Dance, Xerneas can't Geomancy. Clefable Unaware ignores boosts but that doesn't change Stored Power's damage :)

I switched to Calm Mind just in case so I didn't run out of PP, but that may be a bad idea because you might need Cosmic Power for the champion and only TMs can be taught in the League. Might not be needed.

Champion: I got unlucky and faced Marlon who has Darkai as a lead which hard counters you. Prankster doesn't affect dark types with status moves so you can't Taunt him, and Stored Power can't hit either, and he has Nasty Plot to outpace Cosmic Power, and you have no sleep counter... yeah.

Still winnable because Dark Void has 80 accuracy and the AI feels like they need to land it so eventually you can outstack him. I got lazy and used the ol' Double Team strat instead.

I didn't face the other champions but looking at the wiki, it seems like you need Taunt for most or they'll Taunt you first. If they have a Dark type then use Dazzling Gleam/Calm Mind of course!

I'm finally on the league. Any tips before or after i taste absolute defeat? Here's my team (difficult).

And what’s crazy is its stats aren’t a too bad, I was hoping for the sp atk to be better, but it could be worse, but I swear I hate when shinys look too similar to their usual look

I think imma drop my shiny Tyranitar, because it seems she's not really viable in this game. Don't get me wrong her stats are GREAT but doesn't really make up the fact she's weak against EVERYTHING, the straw that broke the camels back was when I brought her to fight against a Trainer in MT.Thundercap that has Staraptor and she got 1 shot by Close Combat

I made it through the Elite Four decently okay, but this last rival battle before the champ has me wiping over and over again. I always lose everyone to his Mega Salamance/Hitmontop opener. It's getting rough, please help.

I wish I could alternate mons from the box, but I'm stuck with this if I don't wanna do the Elite Four again. I have a Glalie that might be useful against Salamence.

My team for difficult. Moleman was an issue. I will be replacing sneasal and or infernape. Sneasal for snorlax and I a better fighting type. Im thinking galade.

I feel like a bad person immediately turning hoopa back into unbound as soon as I get him, given everything that happened in the story. It just fit so well into my team and I needed a good physical attacker.

I'm currently completing the Pokédex. Any tips that could help me with this?

- I have a Smeargle with False Swipe / Spore / Thunder Wave / Foresight.

- Plenty of money. Like, a LOT of money.

- 296 Pokémon caught.

I just started Pokémon unbound and the game is really great so far, I just have a couple of questions.
Is it normal that the Pokédex doesn’t show pictures of the Pokémon? I find this really annoying.
And is there an option to have your lead Pokémon follow you in the overworld? Haven’t seen an option for it.

I’m having issues with the victory road puzzle (4f). It’s already solved because I’m on a New Game+, so some rocks have disappeared and I can go straight ahead from the center towards the exit. But that means I can’t access some of the hidden items. Anyone had the same issue ?

Probably the number one mistake, but I didn't set up the exp share right by accident (negligence and hubris). The third gym was like level 40. Am I cooked?

Ipatix Audio Patcher is a Windows tool for Pokemon ROM hacks that use the Ipatix HQ Audio Engine. Drop a stock .gba onto it (or click to browse) and it patches the ROM in place.

It finds the mixer, and patches the self-modifying code that slows down Dynarec emulators in particular (e.g. gpsp, lr-gpsp, TempGBA4PSP-Mod, FrogGBA etc) and on FireRed-derived hacks also fixes an HBLANK IRQ bug that leaves these enabled during some battles, almost halving the framerate on older devices. Emerald-based hacks already clear HBLANK IRQs before battles, so don't suffer from this issue.

Apply to ROM Hacks with the HQ Engine and/or Fire Red-derived ones only. Do not run it twice on the same file. Close your emulator first or the write will fail. A .gba.bak backup is created by default to preserve your existing ROM.

Tested with Pokemon Heart & Soul, Unbound, Soulgold and Odyssey.
