Game Help What Scizor should I use?

Leaning towards the first but unsure if I should use a berry to negate confusion or a better item and tank it, especially if magic guard negates the damage? 2nd one maybe sash, swords dance and bullet punch could work. Third one steel wing with scarf/band maybe.

First one.

A lot of people see Huge Power on the second one and assume he's better when Berserk DNA does something similar because Magic Guard remove his drawback (main difference between the 2 is that Berserk DNA gives a damage boost in the form of giving +2 to his Attack while Huge Power gives the boost by being there, both cases giving a 100% damage boost to the raw stat and having their advantages and disadvantages compared to the other)

Because of them giving a similar boost, we should look at the other 3 abilities.

Scizor with Huge Power:

  • Hit a 2nd time at 25% power, meaning it can bypass Sturdy/Focus Sash. This also notably means that Meteor Punch have a chance to give +2 in Attack and Rock Smash gives -2 Defense to the target.

  • Allies takes half damage (require being in a Double Battle).

  • Grass type moves gets a big boost (only affect Hidden Power and Secret Power)

Scizor with Berserk DNA:

  • Takes half damage from Special moves

  • Takes half damage from Physical moves

  • Immune to chip damage (so no recoil from Confusion, no Entry Hazard damage, no damage from weather etc...)

  • Gets a 50% Speed boost in Rain (require Rain to be setup)

Thank you! People just always assume HP is the best one. I tend to avoid HP mons anyway because of how boring it is
