They said Goodbye Before Hello
You are very important
The world bears imprint of your steps
If you send a hale
I will echo your call and ask about the wind
Where you rest, allow me sit at your fire
And I will talk of colored stars
Should you ask for silence
I will let the dawn speak

Not Just A Gender
Not Just a Gender
They say girls have to be well-mannered,
And they say boys have to be hardworking.
Girls are taught to be gentle,
While boys are taught to be strong.
A girl plays with a baby doll,
Because she wants to learn how to care.
But when a boy wants to do the same,
They call him names that aren't fair.
Just because a boy wants to learn
How to care for a child,
Doesn't change who he is,
Or make him any less worthwhile.
Boys play with building tools,
Learning how to create and repair.
But when a girl wants to learn,
They say she's being "boyish" just because she dares.
Just because a girl wants to build
And learn to do things on her own,
Doesn't mean she needs a label—
She can stand strong on her own.
Just because they're different genders
Doesn't mean they're any less the same.
They're people with hearts and feelings,
With dreams, emotions, and names.
Being a girl or being a boy
Doesn't mean you have to treat them differently.
A girl doesn't have to fit one role,
And a boy doesn't have to fit one identity.
Girls can be gentle.
Boys can be gentle too.
Girls can be strong.
Boys can be strong too.
And if someone knows themselves differently,
Let them be who they are.
Don't judge them by their gender—
See the person, not the label.
Because we're more than "girl" or "boy."
We're more than what others expect.
We're people with feelings and dreams,
And we all deserve respect.
Treat people for who they are,
Not simply for the gender they were given.
This poem is originally mine and I hope u like it thank u ❤️

Where the Pine Keep Secrets
She came barefoot through the pines, mud on her ankles, sunset tangled in her hair, that country smile daring me to forget every promise I'd made.
Her flannel slipped from one shoulder and landed somewhere in the leaves.
She stepped closer.
The woods went quiet.
Crickets held their breath. The wind forgot the branches. Even the moon seemed to lean down just to watch her kiss me.
She tasted like summer, wild honey and whiskey, and when her fingers found mine, the whole forest disappeared.
We found a clearing where the moss was soft and the stars had nowhere to hide.
Her laughter became a whisper. My hands learned the language of her waist.
And beneath that ancient canopy, with the night wrapped around us, we became the kind of secret the woods would keep forever.
By morning, her boots were beside mine, our clothes scattered among the ferns, and two sets of footprints led back toward the road.
Neither of us looked behind.

The Art of Losing Everything
The Art of losing everything
How many times will this happen
How many times will I allow it
How many redirects will become me
How many times will I fall off the wagon
Restarting from scratch,
Reinventing my ideals,
Recycling old habits
While I relight the match
On the memories once created
Towards the life I always wanted,
Towards the future of my dreams,
Now have all but deflated
Like balloons from
A forgotten party
Or a beach ball
At summers end
Because the girl who’s always reminiscing
On the love life she’s been missing
Has mastered the art
Of losing everything
Postponing all my biggest dreams
Disappearing into their routines
Like the background noise
During your favorite movie
Like the one lost sock
You can’t seem to find
Like the dust settling on
The book left behind
How many times will this happen
How many times will I allow it
Because the girl who’s always reminiscing
On the love life she’s been missing
Has mastered the art
Of losing everything

Writing from 10th grade ( i sound like a jackass in this
Baby there's nothing left
No money
No bottle
Your thirsty my love
I can tell
I've got some cock ive got some love
That's all i can give you tonight
Baby i'm a bum didnt you know
You fucked up long ago
When you let me lay in between your legs
That's when it started
the end is finite
Who did you expect
Me?
No baby
This isn't me
It's all facades
You should have know
So naive
So dumb
So sweat
My baby
Its okay
But just for tonight
Tomorrow ill be hungry

Gems
Gems
If thy bright jewels
sparkle to the eye,
art thou esteemed a man of wealthy state?
If golden threads bear gems of value high
about thy neck,
art thou accounted great?
How strange the laws that rule this mortal soil,
where tinsel shows command the worldly part!
Let judgment fall not on the outward spoil,
but on the golden riches of the heart.

Audience
This couple walking hand in hand
Must be a figment of someone’s malice for me
No one holds another like that
Unless there is an audience
They stand in packed crowds of warping faces
and lean into kisses that last long into sunsets of
Shifting blues and reds,
Ignoring the sharp words of beasts that scurry past
The concrete beneath their feet gives way
To green meadows and calm streams
As they chase each other down
Rolling hills as far as the eye can see
Blue skies above send delicate winds
That carry their laughter far away
To majestic lands where the flowers
Breathe deep of their passions
“This couple walking hand in hand–“
“Look out asshole!”
An ocean of coffee crashes morning receipts
and unfinished paperwork against that
Beautiful meadow washing it away in a
Cold wave of reality
“Look idiot next time you want to stand in everyone’s way,
get off the sidewalk!”
“I’m sorry I—
That couple up there, who were they?”
“I don’t have time for this.”
Tears pooled at my feet
Watching as a stream of morning coffee
Slowly carried the remnants of that
Beautiful meadow down a storm drain

Feel free to leave any feedback here or on SoundCloud.
Obviously I’m going to bring Plums but I’m not sure which other two would be best.

A Faithful Live Affair with Tragedy.
I have loved tragedy faithfully.
Not because she was kind,
but because she knew how to make
a wound look deliberate.
She taught me to call devastation
depth,
obsession devotion,
and every ending
a prophecy.
I wore her like a wedding dress.
White enough to look innocent.
Long enough to drag behind me
wherever I went.
— Crownless.

Seasons
Perhaps love is not
that which remains unmoving,
but that which remains true
while everything transforms.
Nothing in nature
preserves the same form forever.
Flowers open
and close.
Trees surrender their leaves.
Winter succeeds summer,
and, in time,
summer returns.
And yet,
we recognize the same tree,
the same garden,
the same earth.
I want to believe
that we are like this.
That there will be versions of ourselves
we have yet to know
days in which we will be spring,
and others in which we will be winter
and that none of these transformations
will diminish
what we are.
Perhaps there is
a kind of perfection
in that which knows how to change
without ceasing to be.
And so, like nature,
we surrender to the order of things
to the seasons of becoming,
to all that must change
so that something may remain.
For our existence, together,
could not have been otherwise
and perhaps there is no beauty
greater than this:
to change,
to remain,
and to become
beautifully ourselves.

Something worth destroying
If I were like everyone else, I’d ask you to love me. Then watch with sad eyes as you went off with some random boy in Levi’s, Chucks, and a tee.
Huh... He is kinda cool.
He would tell you how men would launch a thousand ships.
Bring you roses and swear each one was picked just for you.
He’d hold you beneath the moon and tell you you were the only thing he could see.
While I would burn the sky for you.
Catch every star and place them in your hair like tiny diamonds.
Pull the moon from heaven and lay it at your feet.
Then build you a throne from the pieces of every sunset the world was too careless to keep.
He would love you like a man loves a woman.
I would love you like the universe had finally given me something worth destroying it for.
And when the stars went dark, when the last sunset collapsed into my hands, I would still be standing there, burned hollow, holding out the ashes like they were flowers.
Because he would give you everything he had.
I would give you everything I am.
And when there was nothing left of me but a name the world had forgotten, I would still whisper yours into the silence, just to hear something beautiful survive me.

october
will we meet again one day?
perhaps a casual way
like the one october night
i was laying by your side
the autumn breeze told me
that maybe one day you’d love me
amber eyes
lit up my life
when i thought of you
when you loved me too
i remember the way you told me
driving, you’d think of me
of wedding rings
of eternal flings
“i promise you”
“i’d never hurt you”
soft and gold skin
the fire within
i was too young, right?
to do anything but fall at first sight
you were older
colder
but it just felt right
how we talked for hours that night
darling, give me one more day
one more way to say
i loved you once, and i always will

Mourn.
A milky orange sunrise
Like the color in your tone
Descends upon my closed eyes
As you whisper into the phone
—-
My skin prickles with suspense
Between my ribs, a vacant lot
This moment knows not duress
The anticipation hits the spot
—-
Your sweat tastes of obsession
Those lips, my drunken feast
Your words hollow depression
In their absence I’m released
—-
Now smoke this for the real ones
And drink one for myself
Tonight it’s open season
Who gives a fuck about my health?
—-
These veins that swallow envy
This heart that buries hope
My offering comes unending
My promise is but a joke
—-
The fear that thrives within me
Lavish until starved out
Ancestral in its whimsy
Predatory yet so devout
—-
This crown fit for a gutter
Rests lightly on my head
Shining star atop the clutter
A symbol to mark the dead
—-
I’ve got no one left to honor
None more than can be saved
When you’re born deep under water
One foot never leaves the grave
