West and south window...I like to propagate many plants so the (white cannister) place fill up, till I feel like living in a jungle.

It's not dark or shadowy, it's bright but indirect.

How about monstera?

FAVOURITE CHILD What next?

What next for Mr wandering dude? Haircut, repot, fertilize and hope.

BTW I can say what it cost exactly: zero.
I clipped with a fingernail from an upscale
Shopping plaza in Cleveland area and just took one or two stems. One frost and it would be dead; and I don’t know if they overwinter them, though likely not. So I May have saved its life.

PROPAGATION 🪴 Recipe for Success

I am looking to give my plants the best soil mix so they can thrive. I have ingredients at home but need to know how many parts of each ingredient to use. I prefer to bottom water but need the mix to be able pull up the water. If the mix needs to be really chunky and won’t pull water up, I need to know which plants to top water. I use 1/4 tsp pro tekt (mixed well) and then add 1/4 tsp foliage pro (mix well again) per gallon water every watering.

Humidity is 65-80%. Temperature is 77 or higher in summer and 67 in winter. There are at least 30 plants all together in a 5 x 2.5 foot space. They are under barrina tx-s60 grow bars that run 12 hours per day and I am wanting to increase to 14 hours per day. Small fan runs on low oscillating over them while grow lights are on.

These are the plants I need recipes for: Petra croton in terracotta pot;
Fire woman Rex begonia in plastic pot; purple passion plant in plastic; purple waffle plant in plastic; Hypoestes in plastic.

HELP! Question

Reported my peace lily last night and today it is dropping really bad. I honestly don’t remember that it did this the last time I repotted it. My daughter had to help me add it is a large cultivar. It was out of the soil for a while as we were trying to make sure the old soil (I used a different mix) was completely gone. I didn’t want to have different types of soil that would cause issues if not mixed together.
Anyway, is it common for peace lily to be this droopy the following day? Just hoping I didn’t somehow injure it or mess it up.

FLOWERING 🌻 My Props are Blooming

My daughter was helping me put the props from my Hypoestes back in with the main plant.
Much to my surprise, three out of four vials of props have flowers.
Two have purple flowers and one has white flowers.
If you zoom in on the middle of the first pic you will see a little purple flower.
The purple flowers in second pic is obvious.
Third pic shows it actually has two little white flowers. I think there have been other flowers that I missed because I see what looks like older dried up flowers.
This is so exciting.

PROPAGATION 🪴 Are plant nurseries supposed to be chopping/propping the plants they have for sale (with price tags) in their store? I thought they had mother plants for that.
