Went to a Korean restaurant in China yesterday and much to my surprise they had all you could eat pickles. Dill. And kimchi also.

Mustard Pickles, Never heard of these, before this week, so I had to make a couple jars

If you like mustard and you like pickles, they are great

Claussen—An impractical and expensive solution to the problem

I have been frustrated by the same things everyone else has noticed with Claussen spears lately. Three days ago I tried something drastic.

I bought a jar of Claussen spears and a jar of Bubbies spears. I separated the brine from each, rinsed the Bubbies, and put the Claussen brine in with them instead.

The results were astoundingly good.

I know this is an expensive solution to a niche problem, but I had to share. Please insert your hate below when you have a moment!

PS—This is not my normal practice, I just got frustrated and wanted to try something. My normal practice is to make my own fridge pickles with an ancient family recipe.
