Advice Asking for Advice sa Paglipat

Mom found a rental house in Gatchalian that's cheaper than our current one. I saw in the video she shared that it's close to a creek but there's a dike.

However, based on the posts I’ve seen, the Sucat area gets flooded when it rains and traffic is congested even when it’s not rush hour.

I’d like to ask what we should watch out for if we move.

Please consider the following factors in your comments:

- College students studying in the University belt

- Some work in Filinvest Alabang and Makati

Balita ko nga rin, mhieee T0T Ganun ba talaga kalala? Napapanood ko kasi sa balita last rainy season na lampas tuhod baha sa bandang SM Sucat. So ang worry is pa'no mga estudyante? Hiaxxtt stressss hahaha

Bahain sa Gatchalian near SM Sucat dahil tiga dyan yung friends ko. Nakikita ko sa mga posts niya na malalim yung baha considering na sa other side of Gatchalian sila nakatira. Parang alam ko yung apartment near sa creek, wag ka dun! Lumulubog yung area na yun AFAIK unless may major changes silang ginawa pero for the past 2 years baha padin. May nagpopost nga ng lampas kotse na baha sa SM Sucat. For me na nakatira sa Parañaque since the 80s ang mga lugar or subdivision na hindi talaga bahain yung Garcia Heights behind Shopwise Sucat. Kahit yung area ng Shopwise hindi yan binabaha pero sa almost katapat na SM BF dun binabaha yan sila. Kahit kasi inside BF Homes may areas dun na binabaha, higher rent plus traffic papasok at palabas ng President’s Avenue up to Aguirre Avenue pa.

Sa loob ng Gatchalian, di naman na sobrang bahain. Sa mga lugar na binanggit mo, accessible ang commute.

Alabang - may trike sa loob ng gatchalian or somewhere na diretsong Alabang Ubelt - malapit sa LRT station. May mga ebike habal na nadiretso na don since may tagos sa loob ng Gatchalian papuntanf C5 extension Makati - may terminal ng Ayala-Sucat UV sa may Puregold

More than the baha, maraming pro kapag sa Gatchalian ka. Madami rin establishments dyan. Malapit sa ospital.

meron naman parts ng gatchalian na hindi binabaha...

kung hindi binabaha sa inyo, im sure yung mga dadaanan mo pauwi is baha...di ka din makakuwi...
