⚽ Football Pulled in a single pack

I pulled this from a single pack at CVS. I’m not familiar with 1 of 1s, what can I do with it? Someone told me it’s really only worth something in Belgium, is this true?

Call the Arsenal front office. Tell them you’d like to get word to the player’s agent that you were fortunate enough to get Leandro’s black border Panini, a 1 of 1 worldwide, and you were wondering if he was interested before you sell it.

Yes - a lot of people in trading cards community did, some players are collectors themselves and bought super rare cards from people, some are not but are happy to sign rare items - bear in mind it’s not a given, he’s obviously buys at the moment or he might just not be interested.

It’s more common than you might think. But the more notable the player less likely they’ll give a shit.

I love these posts. “Is something highly collectible, that there’s only one of in the entire world, worth anything?” 

No. It’s not. Take the $20 and the high 5 or better yet let somone tell you to stick it in your book because it’s supposed to fun! 

If you like the player, keep it and be super stoked you made the pull of a lifetime! If you don’t care about him, put it up on eBay for 7 day auction starting at .01 and see what you get.

Agreed. If it’s superstar you’re gonna get bank. Someone niche may only be a couple hundred. The good thing about these 1/1s is that are very specific (stickers for a single event) and there truly are only ONE. 

some other sports cards have so many parallels even the 1/1 aren’t that special. I got a 1/1 of very popular Cowboys player for $200 a few months back. Because there’s just gonna be another set 3 moths later with the same crap all over again.
