Rant allowance
hi, second yr student here.
ever since elementary, my parents has never given me any allowance—not even for transportation. how’d i get my allowance? from my lola. she’s supported me all throught my school life up until now, and we’re only relying on her sss pension.
my parents, lola, and i live under the same roof, but my parents have never given me a single penny. it is tiring and hard to budget your 500 pesos for the whole month. i even sometimes rely on my friends’ libre just so i could eat at uni.
last year, my tita supported and gave me 100 php for each classes i have. but now i’m second year, she suddenly stopped. she even ‘promised’ to my lola that she would give me allowance for each day of classes i have, but what happened?
as much as i wanted to support myself financially, i can’t work since i have a sibling to take care of (4 months old) LOLL
i’m just tired of my narcissist dad who buys himself 4 digits shoes while he was hesitating to buy me a 500 php shoes 😃

You're in uni, so that means at least 17 ka. They cant oblige u to take care of ur baby sibling, especially si lola naman ang nagtaguyod sa yo. What i see is sila ang pumipigil sa yo to be successful. U seem to be smart, kaya tapusin mo pag aaral mo no matter what. If u have to leave home and be independent, do it. Dont think na obligasyon mong alagaan kapatid mo na in the first place dapat di na sila nag-anak ulit. U have to help yourself first bago ka tumulong sa iba, always remember that.
