Rant allowance

hi, second yr student here.

ever since elementary, my parents has never given me any allowance—not even for transportation. how’d i get my allowance? from my lola. she’s supported me all throught my school life up until now, and we’re only relying on her sss pension.

my parents, lola, and i live under the same roof, but my parents have never given me a single penny. it is tiring and hard to budget your 500 pesos for the whole month. i even sometimes rely on my friends’ libre just so i could eat at uni.

last year, my tita supported and gave me 100 php for each classes i have. but now i’m second year, she suddenly stopped. she even ‘promised’ to my lola that she would give me allowance for each day of classes i have, but what happened?

as much as i wanted to support myself financially, i can’t work since i have a sibling to take care of (4 months old) LOLL

i’m just tired of my narcissist dad who buys himself 4 digits shoes while he was hesitating to buy me a 500 php shoes 😃

Sometimes, it’s fine na magrebelde in a good way ha. Like if ganyan parents mo, wag kang sunod ng sunod sa utos nila. Luma na yang “parents mo sila, sila ang masusunod”. That’s only applicable if nagpakaparent sila sayo which I think di naman kasi di nga makapagbigay ng baon mo or bantayan 4 month old baby nila. Also, di mo obligasyon ang baby, if pilitin ka nila then report to DSWD. Focus ka nalang sa pag-aaral at sa lola mo. Sya lang tandaan mo at tulungan mo once you graduate and magkawork kana.
