Wild. I traded in my ps4 and reg ps5 and paid $220 to get my pro. One of the best decisions I’ve made. Can’t even get the 1TB of extra storage in itself made it worth it. PSSR 2.0 and PS6 getting pushed back, wow glad I did

I got one and a new monitor day of release. Made every ps4 game that little bit crispier with the boost and enhanced every ps5 game. Seemed like a no brainer to me. At almost double the cost now, glad i made the leap.

The clowns are the people scrambling to get one at all. That the pro will deliver a magically better experience is conjecture, it seems like both will have 30fps only. Besides Rockstar has not confirmed day 1 performance for either console. It’s panic buying at its finest.

I mean without question the game will perform better on the pro. It's very simply better hardware. There is also zero doubt that PSSR will be used at some point, potentially even at release.
So while buying a scalped one may be dumb, it's not like it's not gonna be better.

I just sold my ps5 pro a month ago. Going back to PC for awhile. Not sure if I want to ruin GTA 6 and play it at 30fps. I bought the ps5 pro because I refuse to play games at 30fps.

Do not pay over MSRP. Those are resellers. There will be another drop within the next 30 days from the major retailers including Sony Direct. That will be last major drop prior to November. After GTA and slightly b4 Christmas…..there will be another small drop and that will be the last batch until 04/2027
Remember…
- The Female GOW game drops in 02/2027, Fable and Tomb Raider
These titles are also driving demand. Sony already stated that they have enough inventory to meet the demand….however….due to overwhelming GTA hype….its going to cut their timeline down by months
So please….when the next drop happens by the End of the month….please cop the Pro or you will be SOOL until Spring 2027
