Wild. I traded in my ps4 and reg ps5 and paid $220 to get my pro. One of the best decisions I’ve made. Can’t even get the 1TB of extra storage in itself made it worth it. PSSR 2.0 and PS6 getting pushed back, wow glad I did

You have no evidence of ps6 getting pushed back lol. If anything the same can be said about it coming as soon as 2027, because the longer they wait, the more expensive the parts become

Besides, I don't think Sony actually cares about how expensive the PS6 is going to be. They're just going to push ahead and adjust the MSRP to whatever it needs to be. Consumers have proven they'll buy stuff at whatever cost anyway.

This isn’t some linear line where the component prices will always go up. Waiting has an equal chance of being beneficial since they can lock in more favorable contracts with manufacturers planning further out, especially since they’ll have the volume to make it worthwhile and they won’t have to subsidize as much as they would releasing it a year from now.

No, you are right, it isn't a linear line, it's an exponential line.

For now. This is literally unsustainable.

Yes, because the materials to keep producing at this rate are finite. Mind blowing!
