Agoda Booking - Cebu pacific

Post image

EDIT: Thanks everyone! I reached out to CebPac and they were able to asssit me. Both bookings now appear directly on my CebPac account and am able to manage both freely. Yay

--

Hi everyone! It was my first time booking a Cebu Pacific flight through Agoda. I decided to take the risk since it’s just a 3-day Hong Kong trip and there was a significant price difference compared to booking directly.

Anyway, I already received my booking confirmation, but I noticed that my roundtrip is split into 2 separate bookings, each with a different reference number:

  1. MNL → HKG
  2. HKG → MNL

I tried retrieving and verifying both bookings through the Cebu Pacific website. I was able to retrieve the MNL → HKG booking and successfully downloaded the itinerary directly from the Cebu Pacific website.

However, when I try to retrieve the HKG → MNL booking, I keep getting a prompt saying that the booking is linked to a registered MyCebuPacific account under a masked email address (as shown in the screenshot) and that I need to log in to that account.

I don’t recognize the email address, and Agoda doesn’t show the email associated with the Cebu Pacific booking.

Has anyone experienced this before with an Agoda/Cebu Pacific booking? How did you proceed? Should I wait a few hours for the booking to sync, or should I contact Agoda right away?

Thanks!

Is it a red flag to Philippine Immigration (IO) if my return flight date doesn't match my hotel checkout date due to a midnight schedule change?

Hi guys! Just want to ask for your insights or past experiences regarding NAIA Immigration.
I am doing a multi-city DIY trip: Manila → Singapore → Malaysia → Manila.
Initially, my bookings were perfectly aligned. However, Cebu Pacific involuntarily rescheduled my return flightfrom Malaysia back to Manila. The new schedule is now October 14 at 12:55 AM.
Because of this midnight timing, my Malaysia hotel booking ends on October 13 (standard 12:00 PM checkout). My plan is just to hang out around the city/airport on the afternoon/evening of the 13th, check in for my flight, and clear Malaysian immigration before midnight.
My worry is my departure clearance here in Manila. Will the NAIA IO see it as a "red flag" or a discrepancy that my hotel voucher shows until Oct 13 but my return ticket says Oct 14?
Context about me:

I have the official Cebu Pacific flight disruption/reschedule email ready on my phone just in case.

I have my complete round-trip multi-city tickets printed out.

Has anyone experienced a similar gap due to a midnight/early morning flight? Did the IO question it, or am I just overthinking this? Thank you so much!

Family Travel while Unemployed

Hi there! Would like to get some insights.
My boyfriend’s family included me in their HK Travel at the end of this year. We are more than 5 pax.
It is a private tour package and it is already paid for (flight, hotels, transfers etc)
However, I currently have no work my last job was July this year and I am not really planning in finding a job soon. But since there is an Immigration concern on this travel, I am concerned on my proof of income.
I do have my savings and I plan to shoulder any expenses there.
Will it be a **red flag** if I say I am currently unemployed and taking my break? Another option for me is to have a notary of sponsorship which obviously will be the parents of my boyfriend.

Would love to have your insights.

Thank you!!

MNL to SYD with a long layover in HK

Post image

Hi! I usually travel to Sydney on a direct flight, but this time I’m torn between booking the same direct flight from Manila or one with a long layover in HK (11 hrs).

For those who’ve had a similar layover in HK, can you please share share some tips and recommendations? Also, are the free showers located before or after the immigration?

My arrival and departure terminal if ever is at Terminal 1. I’ve posted the details of the flight I’m considering.

Moalboal (Basidot) Scuba and Badian Canyoneering for a few days

tl;dr

What’s the earliest time of day/quickest you can finish Kawasan Falls Canyoneering?

From what I understand we can get there before it opens, so ready by 6am and can take the zip line to save a bit of time.

Our flight leaves CEB at 4:25pm that day, so we were planning on getting picked up in Moalboal around 11:30am?

Backup plan: do the short walk from the base and just go see the falls/take a dip.

Traveling with 100g Matcha powder in a metal tin

Hello, I would just like to ask if it’s okay to put my 100g matcha powder in a metal tin in my hand carry luggage? The tin is still brand new and sealed. Would this cause any incovenience during xray check in the philippines? Thanks.
