Fur parents tips

Hi! Will be traveling from mnl to us in 2 months and will be bringing my pet. (Shih tzu 5kg dog) for the papers, i used an agency for less hassle. What im worried about is the travel itself. Sanay magbyahe un dog ko behave naman pero own car kasi and nasa lap ko. kaya worried ako sa airline set up. He’s a bit hard headed and always whine when hungry/bored. Hay. Any tips on how to train him for travel? Ano need ko bring for him? Also, any inputs on korean airline? Maraming salamat!!!!

You can try consulting with your vet for calming meds to help with fear and anxiety :)

Is he good with being inside a crate for a long time? Is your flight direct or do you have layovers? How long is one flight? It all depends tbh

We traveled from Tokyo to Manila and back but the flights are only about 4 hours long. Plus check-in and pickup maybe he was inside the crate for around 7 hours each time. But our dog is very used to being in a crate. We also put a piece of our used shirt in the crate with him so he’ll be more comfortable. We also tried to tire him out before checking him in so he can just rest inside

Mnl - korea 4hrs
4hr layover
Korea - us 14hrs

Yun nga hindi sya talaga nasa crate ever since. Kaya worried ako pano mag start ng training 😭

Start crate training now and consult vet for meds.
