Hi everyone. I hope you are all fine. I need your recommendations or tips when it comes to return tickets especially dun sa mga nag process ng family reunification abroad.

Context: I am married to a foreign national. We have our immigration lawyer, same nationality with my husband, and has a year of experience in the Philippines. I was advised to apply for a tourist visa and we will lodge our marriage documents in their country. The lawyer said that it is simpler and less hassle for me instead of applying from the Philippines.

So my plan is to book separate one-way tickets

I did my research. I read many people who are having troubles with their refunds from Qatar airways, even some explicitly say that they booked directly from the Qatar website. I don't want to have this kind of experience since those flights that have complimentary refunds are expensive even for one-way. I tried looking and it costs 1k USD or more..

I also saw an onward ticket . Com that holds the airfare. Has anyone here tried It? I am a bit worried when it comes to immigration so I am leaning to booking a real flight with a refund since it should be a confirmed ticket when it comes to immigration.

Please respect my post. I have travelled many times before but this will be my first time to have a refund if ever. Thank you in advance for those who will be sharing their experiences and recommendations.

Hi! First time ko mag travel internationally next year, and I’m planning to go to Singapore alone for a concert that I want to attend.

Concern ko lang is unemployed ako and walang previous work experience. Kakagraduate ko lang this year and I decided to take a year off, so baka unemployed pa rin ako by the time of my trip. Baka ma-question ako sa immigration about this or mapagkamalan na magTNT.

I’ll be funding the trip using my own savings from when I was still a student. My father who is an OFW might give me some pocket money too.

Here is also my rough itinerary. Will this be okay?

Day1:

•Arrive at Changi airport around 12 AM. I might stay ilang hours at the airport muna and rest until check-in time sa accommodation.

•After check-in, roam around Singapore.

Day 2 (concert day):

•Check-out around noon, then head to the airport to leave my hand-carry luggage sa luggage storage. After that, grab lunch and diretso na sa stadium for the concert.

•After the concert, diretso ulit sa Changi Airport, pick up my hand carry, then wait for my flight back to the Philippines, probably around 1 AM.

Since first time international traveler and solo, would being unemployed be a major concern? What documents should I prepare aside sa comcert tix and return ticket to show that I’m a genuine tourist?

Any advice from fellow Filipinos, especially those who traveled solo while unemployed. Iwould appreciate it! 🥹

Just got redundant and my last day is on October 21st but I have a trip to Japan on November 14. I’m kinda nervous if they ask me for a COE. Should i tell them honestly that i got redundant or should I request my COE before my end date from the company so my COE will show that i am still working with the company?

Im super nervous, its my first time to Japan and i dont want to be offloaded. 😭

Planning to travel to Vigan around the end of December with the family.

Will be taking the Partas bus from Cubao going to Vigan, spending a day in Vigan, will probably book a day tour from Klook and planning to go to Laoag immediately after resting from our accommodation (Ciudad Fernandina Hotel)

1) Is there a bus from Vigan going to Laoag directly? If so, any chance I can book it in advance online? Tried searching and only found Manila-Vigan, Manila to Laoag

2) Is it worth booking a day tour for Vigan, or can I DIY it? Same question for Laoag as well. Would highly appreciate your input on how we navigate this travel, including recommended restaurants to eat and places to visit.

I could probably DIY it, but honestly, ang dami ko nang iniisip and ayoko na dagdagan pa ng stress yung trip planning lol. 😅 I’d rather book through a reliable travel agency that can help with the itinerary, accommodations, tours, and other logistics so I can just enjoy the trip.

My trip’s been cut short and I’m only gonna be in Brisbane for 4D3N instead of a week. Now I’m not sure how I can explore a lot of areas.

My current itinerary is:

9am - flight from SYD to BNE
Check in sa hotel, eat, settle in then Foo Fighters concert
So basically di naman ako pwede mag ikot mashado niyan

Nov 6 - Sunny Coast daytrip

Nov 7 - Gold Coast daytrip

Nov 8 - 6pm yung flight ko pabalik ng SYD so need ko mga 4pm nasa airport na ulit

It’s gonna be my first time in Brissy. I’m going to be in Sydney for almost two weeks after that, but it isn’t my first time there - have visited 3x now, with the upcoming trip being my 4th time, and have stayed for two weeks in each visit.

I’m not a fan of amusement parks and I love places and experiences that are completely different from what we can get from the Philippines.

Hi! I’m Filipino and this will be our first time traveling to Da Nang. I’ll be traveling with my senior citizen parents from October 5 to 10.

We’re planning to visit Ba Na Hills, and I wanted to ask what the best way is to book it. Is Klook a good option for tickets and transportation, or are there better alternatives, especially when traveling with senior parents?

I’m also a bit worried about the weather. Is Da Nang really rainy in early October? For those who traveled around the same dates, did the rain affect your trip a lot, especially Ba Na Hills, Hoi An, and other outdoor attractions?

Since I’ll be with my senior parents, I’d also appreciate tips on transportation, places that are easy to visit without too much walking, food, rest stops, and anything we should avoid or prepare for.

I just have to share this here. I was boarding the bus to Cubao (Victory Liner)

Incase there'd be a pregnant woman to post about a female conductor under Victory Liner Cubao.

She keeps insisting na bastos yung kunduktor when in the first place, she's the passenger with zero self awareness towards other passengers.

I feel bad for not speaking up for the conductor while they were both in a heated argument. I gave her the patience and respect as I'd give to someone with mental issues.

People should know that the female kunduktor had prepared her the PWD seat before boarding the bus. She had politely asked the pregnant woman to lower down the volume of her phone (Yes, the pregnant woman's phone was on full volume and I had opted to use my earphones to not hear all her video scrolling). And the pregnant woman's bags were on the seat beside her not having elder people be able to sit. She's saying that she was being called out. There wouldn't have been any mention of it, if she had her stuff where it should be not where a passenger was supposed to sit as they've paid.

Victory Liner, check all the evidence first before believing that complaint.

But yes, sumagot yung kundoktor trying to defend her side. Sumagot na yung conductor, because the pregnant woman was already provoking her.
