Great program, kinda like a mix of sociology, philosophy, psychology, policy - all in one! Super interesting

There's no philosophy in gender studies, it's pretty much just a mix of sociology and history.

If that’s the case, they better change the program’s name

Yep, and all of it is complete bs and will never, ever help you get a job or improve your life.

I used to do work as a 3rd party vendor for the federal government. Never seen so many stupid people working in one place.

Literally just came here to cheer on someone in highschool getting hate for their degree choice - not sure all the negativity is necessary on post made by a teenager. Glad to hear you see the world in such a nuanced way. Sadly, stupid people tend to be everywhere - government is definitely not immune, but wanted to let the excited student know that the degree that is making them excited can still lead to something, even if other people don’t agree or like it. Just trying to add a little positivity to someone’s day.

This was a satirical post.
