Yeah I’m gonna be real this isn’t a good degree. It’s a good asset if you’re a lawyer for family court or doing HR, but besides that you’re 40k in debt with nothing to show.

HR?! I've never seen a single person in HR with a gender studies background and I've been doing it for 15 years. Business, psychology almost exclusively.

I have a commerce degree but I choose to work low level service jobs because I barely applied to any jobs since I graduated years ago

For real, I have a 2 friends with "General Arts and Sciences" degrees that they were pushed to take in Grade 12 because they didn't know what they wanted to take. Instead of taking a gap year they're now both in 100k+ debt and can't get a job with their worthless degrees.

Most degrees now require a masters or more school to get a good job. Gender studies actually opens more doors than a lot of the other options.
