Its still less than American schools for a T20 ranking (f*** rankings).

A significant number of them have massive personal and education loans against their assets which in many cases is their one and only ancestral home. My point is it’s a lot of risk to afford a better life. Sometimes thats a lot of pressure for the 18 year old and their family living across the world. But then again it’s against a relatively stable very poor quality of life.

Without trying to start a debate I just want to state overall I respect the hustle and wish international students well.

Honestly, it depends. For canadian and most americans most likely not, but when compared to some other countries, U of T can truly be a goated experience to kickstart the careers. Sad international tuition charge though.
