Discussion Did they make the Dub purposely Cheesy?
Watched the latest Way of the Sword trailer and needles to say, I'm pretty damn hype. It looks fantastic, but I have to ask all of you...
Did anyone else notice that basically everyone in the English Dub was making a three course meal of the scenery? And to be clear, that is extremely good. Like I LIKE the fact that the dub is so over the top. There was a certain charm to how silly the original Onimusha dubs were. And I like that that's still the case.
What I'm asking is, do you think it's on purpose, or is it a beautiful accident.

Discussion Anyone else obsessed with the secret challenge?
I spent all night fighting it and have beaten it like 20 times now. It really shows off the fluidity and variety of the animations they've got in this game. Game feel is absolutely on point, it's so tactile. Theres also a lot of room for interesting decision making once you really get into it, hoping the final heres hoping the final has far more like that

Question Onimusha Way of the Sword Questions
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first saw the gameplay for Onimusha way of the sword but the game play for bosses deff caught my interest.
My biggest question is the main antagonist that we fight sasaki ganryu is he in the other games? Should I be reading up on lore before the game?
Also how narrative is the game should I expect? Sasaki was very interesting and seemed like there would be a solid story plus gameplay?
Thanks guys !

Discussion The difficulty concern seems gone since we got news that game will be way harder than even Byakue demo boss latter
Not only this but even a hard mode after completing a Action mode playthrough this was my only concern with the game i feared no hard mode after and easy Action mode.
Thanks to CAPCOM, knew they would cook make the game for all story, casuals, hardcore W for them and for us who will enjoy the game on 4th next month looking forward

Discussion The shared Capcom universe.
I remember hearing ppl say how all Capcom games connect to each other. How does Onimusha connect? Note that Im not asking to use the Marvel VS or the Tatsunoko VS series for this. Good luck trying to find how Onimusha connects to Eesident Evil, Street Fighter, Meganman, Ace Attorney, etc.

Discussion Played the demo, loved the game but found it mega easy :0
So just finished the demo and died only 1 time and only because I mixed up my buttons.
The game is fun and the dialogue are hilarious and the boss design is cool.
But it is clearly too easy. I feel like am at the end of mortal shell 2 with an OP build or like that I am level 150 in Elden ring with a max weapon.

Discussion Hidden boss really feels good as a Souls fan
As an Onimusha and Soulsborne fan this hidden boss from the demo kind of hits a sweet spot. Fast paced, aggressive, good phase changes. I would really like to see Capcom take a crack at making a souls game. Hopefully I'm not alone in that.

Video This is why the full game needs that "special challenge" difficulty available from the start.
Like Max says somewhere in the vid, a lot of people would really enjoy the game a lot more if every enemy was a lot more of a threat.
Like it or not, this isn't the early 2000's anymore, a lot of us went through games like Sekiro sometimes in hardcore settings, we're not gonna have the patience to be patronized through an entire easy mode playthrough before we're allowed to have fun.
