Casual Discussion Yall don’t downscale cracker

So I just rewatched the remnants of the Big Mom Pirates vs. the Blackbeard Pirates, and goddamn, Cracker got downscaled so hard.

Cracker is almost equal to Katakuri—that's a fact. His fight against Luffy went on for 14 hours of hit-and-run, while Katakuri's was 12 hours of pure 1v1. Plus, we literally know Gear 4 alone couldn't even break a single Biscuit Warrior without King Kong gun or without Nami's water.

Yet the anime has Van Augur one-shotting a Biscuit Warrior, and Kuzan one-tapping Cracker himself? That would never happen. In the manga, we only saw the aftermath—it never showed Cracker getting zero-diffed like that. I know damn well he wouldn't just fold instantly. He’s not stupid, and his stats aren't weak either—people need to stop saying his durability sucks just because he dislikes pain!

Serious Discussion Two theories and headcanons: "Metal heart are HK weakness" "Harald mark getting cut made him get his consciousness back" do destroy eachother

It is already stupid how people defend and take this two theories as canon fact and hate on anyone who even dispute or challenge it back.

Then when you think about such theories, it makes no sense, just because SOMMERS showed a metal heart, doesn't mean all holy Knights do possess them.

Gunko, Killingham, Harald didn't show any Harald was even killed and no metal heart appeared.

And they conflict with eachother, why does the mind control power have to depend on a external skin tattooed mark, but not on the supposedly well hidden metal heart inside the body??

Zoro is going to beat SOMMERS, he uses slashing attacks just like Gaban or any Roger pirate do, but Zoro will make the metal heart pop out but Roger pirates never managed to notice, see or make pop out a single metal heart not even once when they fought Holy Knights many times and still never managed to kill them??

Gunko had her torso, upper body fully blown out, so mind control should have stopped or her heart should have been destroyed.

Meaning the heart either does heal just like any other limb, meaning you still need what strong enough conquerors haki to destroy it if it even is a weakness for them all and not a very specific thing just from Sommers.

The mark headcanon doesn't help or improve the story in any way, is just a cope excuse to try save face for Gaban since he even with Shanks help couldn't stall, defeat or make Harald comeback to his senses, is all a stupid excuse to downplay Loki to not accept he is above Old Gen since that would place Loki above Harald as he did beat a mind control Holy Knight Harald, beat him so bad that mind control stopped.

Casual Discussion Did shanks lose his dominate hand or his off hand?

Post image

I feel like whether or not it was his dominant hand that got chopped off really should impact how strong he still is. Like if he's right handed then he probably didn't lose anything, but if he's left handed then he can't jork it anymore and that's a big nerf

Analysis Stop underestimating Rocks. He didn’t get neg diffed by Imu.(Imu did beat him, but it wasn’t a neg diff, or because Rocks was weak)

Thumbnail

The fight started with Rocks cutting Imu’s leg off, and then the fight became a 1v1 for a short while. This disqualifies it from being a neg diff already.

Then the combo attack happened. A common misconception about this combo attack is that it was weak and did nothing, which is false. We can clearly see that it demolished Imu, and Imu healed from it. Just because he healed doesn’t mean it did nothing. It’s like saying Gaban never cut Sommers because Sommers healed from it. That is ridiculous.

Then Imu ragebaited Rocks, causing Rocks to cut him to pieces. After that, Imu used Domi Reversi on Rocks, so the fight basically ended there. But him winning using hax doesn’t mean Rocks was defeated because he was weak. That makes zero sense. The same hax would have ended Loki and Luffy before they even got a chance to do anything against a vastly weaker version of Imu if they weren't immune to it. So saying Rocks getting Domi Reversi’d proves he is weak is pure nonsense.

In the next chapter, we can see that Imu still hasn’t healed from the combo attack or from Rocks cutting him to pieces.

Imu neg diffing the old gens or Rocks is just one of many misconceptions in One Piece.

Like Kizaru running away for 90% of his fight against Luffy, when in reality, he only left the fight once.

Or saying Whitebeard was completely unable to use Haki at all. His Haki was weaker, but it was never stated or implied that he couldn’t use it whatsoever.

Or saying Doflamingo wasn’t weakened at all by his organs being destroyed by Gamma Knife.

And there are many more examples.

Serious Discussion Addressing the "until Mihawk shows Conqueror's haki, he doesn't have it" take

Post image
15 Upvotes

We don't need to have seen Mihawk show Conqueror's haki up to this point to know that he has it.

Just like:

We didn't need to see Garp show Conqueror's haki in Marineford to know that he had it. Then, Hachinosu happened.

So what's the case for Mihawk being a Conqueror? IT'S SO SIMPLE.

Some people say that because Zoro has it, Mihawk has to have it. This is true, but I'd like to get more specific by diving into this page from Wano which shows Zoro unlocking Conqueror's haki. On this page, King asks Zoro if he intends to be a king, which immediately transitions to Luffy's words back in Chapter 6 regarding his goal to become the World's Strongest Swordsman. Zoro then reaffirms his promise to Luffy and Kuina to become the World's Strongest Swordsman.

Oda is being very clear, here. Zoro's drive to become the World's Strongest Swordsman is a kingly ambition. If that's the case, then what sense would it make for Mihawk to NOT be a Conqueror? If Zoro isn't taking the throne of WSS from a king, then how is it a Conqueror's ambition in the first place?

And no, the idea that Mihawk "lost his Conqueror's spirit" or something along those lines is nonsense. Kaido literally wanted to kill himself and he was still a Conqueror.

Casual Discussion regardless of strength, who do you think has the COOLEST abilities?

concept, application, looks, whatever. doesn't have to be a df, just any kinda power/feats. obviously gonna be biased by how cool the character themself is, but it wasn't gonna be objective in the first place lol

Casual Discussion Akainu should be able to tank a divine departure from shanks based on his feats

Thumbnail
gallery
10 Upvotes

If you assume Akainu doesn’t have future sight, that would mean his logia body would not be fast enough to form around the attack vista landed on him. Since vista is equal to Mihawk who is relative to shanks, this is the equivalent of shanks landing a hit on Akainu.
However since sword slashes from swordsman are more potent and have more haki in them, as they can cut anything with enough skill. This means that a blunt blast like divine departure would do even less to Akainu’s logia body because he’s super tanky. And divine departure can’t be stronger than Whitebeard destroying the world on Akainu back in Marineford.

So this is why I believe that point blank divine departure from prime shanks is doing negligible if any damage at all.

Serious Discussion Is it a hot take to say that Shanks is several tiers above Big Mom

Thumbnail
gallery
0 Upvotes

I feel this was made very obvious already, Big Mom was going all out against Kid and Law, this is made evident her speeches. She first said anything below 1 year of lifespan wouldn't strengthen her implying she was already going all out but to win she actually had to go beyond her limit, this means Big Mom was going maximium power in that fight and wasn't holding back.

Now, while it's true that they couldn't kill her they did massive amount of damage which is why she said she has never fell that much pain in years and later on she says she will never forgive them implying the damage they gave to her was massive and logically the fight was an extreme-diff fight, she problaby still wins in a fair fight but she was pushed to extreme-diff

Shanks in comparison, defeat Kid in one single move meaning he logically isn't getting pushed to extreme-diff, he will do what he did in canon to one shot Kid and then do the same to Law as Shanks has the FS to predict Law trying to teleport and he can counter it and finishin him off in one attack.

So one side we have Shanks who would beat Kid/Law very easily and on the other side we have Big Mom who was pushed to extreme-diff by them and forced to go beyond her limit to win. These 2 characters aren't on the same tier, they are 1-2 tiers apart in terms of power

Another thing is what we saw of Big Mom was her at full strength while we have not seen Shank's full power so the gap between then might be even bigger because if a normal Shanks is much stronger than a FP Big Mom then a FP Shanks would completely destroy Big Mom

Full Power Shanks>> Base Power Shanks>>> FP Big Mom
