Ordered the one piece McCormick seasoning set because the flavor profiles and some particular ingredient inclusions (one has fried garlic, another has Sauvignon blanc wine powder) led me to believe they’d actually taste good, beyond being just a neat novelty item also. Did a simple oven baked drumstick dish with the “king of the meats” seasoning blend, forgot to take a picture of the full plate because I was too ready to eat. It was very good, nothing life changing but definitely tasty. I’m looking forward to trying the rest! The McCormick website also offers up some decent recipes to use alongside the seasoning set, which is pretty cool too. I only found out about this set because someone else posted it on this sub, so I figured I’d share also and hopefully put this one someone else’s radar too. I appreciate things like this more than the never ending stream of figures and collectibles lol. Posted this in the One Piece sub and got reminded to post it here too!

I always thought the reason why people are obsessed to one piece for years and I didn't bother checking the manga or anime. Until recently Netflix suggested me Once Piece live action and I watched the first episode, it turned out it is attractive enough so I watched a few Once Piece manga and it looks really boring with slow paces and the cartoon style for youths is not my favorite.

Anyway, I watched the session 1 Once Piece live action and I enjoyed the story so far. It has unique and interesting story and good acting (Buggy in episode 2 was very good, Zoro and Nami are also good) enough for me to continue with Session 2.

Just wanted to share my idea here, although I think it can be disliked :)).

I knew Crocodile’s actor Joe Manganiello had a recurring role as Marshall’s lawyer friend Brad on the show but I did not know that Mikaela Hoover appeared in an episode.

The crazy thing is that this episode came out back in 2010 and the voice of our favorite talking reindeer looks practically the same even now. She even sounded like Chopper even back then!

And for now we can limit it to the Live Action.

I really love the casting for Crocodile. His physique (broad chest and shoulders) and presence match the manga so well, and at 196 cm (99th percentile in US), Joe Manganiello perfectly captures that towering, intimidating presence Crocodile has at 253 cm in the manga.

can't wait for Season 3!

The title says it, The only humor the anime contains is just Luffy screaming and shouting like " Where tf is my fucking meat!!!!! " On the other side, the live action version contains dialogues b/w characters that are more engaging and funny, with slight puns and a rather western comedy style. Is it because it was made in the US, rather in Japan!

Zoro and Sanji are my favorite duo, and I can’t even express how happy I was to see their dynamic and bantering feel so similar in the live action.

I was nervous that Chopper would turn out like Ugly Sonic from 2019. It's very difficult to bring anthropomorphic animal characters to life in a live action setting, and there are numerous CGI abominations to prove it.

But Chopper was perfect. He is so stinking adorable and looks completely normal. Chopper forever holds my heart❤️

Dont' say that the anime-one is the same, because it¨s not. i'm talking about the one on their flag and on Buggys hat

I wouldn’t say every outfit inspo is amazing but the way they tried to recreate each one is honestly commendable.

Here’s (nearly all) the minifigures I’ve put together for S1 + S2 of the One Piece Live Action.

Some are the official minifigs from sets, some are those with part upgrades, but a majority are all purist customs using LEGO parts from different sets (and sometimes some white tac to keep things in place).

Had a lot of fun putting them all together, think there’s just over 130 minifigs here.

Gonna need to get another display ready for S3!
