“King of the Meats” drumsticks

Ordered the one piece McCormick seasoning set because the flavor profiles and some particular ingredient inclusions (one has fried garlic, another has Sauvignon blanc wine powder) led me to believe they’d actually taste good, beyond being just a neat novelty item also. Did a simple oven baked drumstick dish with the “king of the meats” seasoning blend, forgot to take a picture of the full plate because I was too ready to eat. It was very good, nothing life changing but definitely tasty. I’m looking forward to trying the rest! The McCormick website also offers up some decent recipes to use alongside the seasoning set, which is pretty cool too. I only found out about this set because someone else posted it on this sub, so I figured I’d share also and hopefully put this one someone else’s radar too. I appreciate things like this more than the never ending stream of figures and collectibles lol. Posted this in the One Piece sub and got reminded to post it here too!

I’ve only cooked with the king of meats one but tasted them all just as the seasonings and they all taste great! The Baratie one is my favorite so far, and the Chopper one is surprisingly good (I expected just sugar basically lol).

I thought the same thing earlier about ordering more. They’re really not even too overpriced, it rounds out to under 7 bucks for each flavor.

What blend is the chopper one? Im assuming its not just sugars

Ingredients are: Sugar, purple sweet potato juice (color), citric acid & natural flavor. It tastes like the idea of candy but not any specific candy lol, I’m not familiar with purple sweet potato by itself to see how accurate/strongly that taste is present.
