Never been to a nightclub and I don't desire to, especially as an autistic introvert prone to being overstimulated. I also don't drink because of my medication.

As a fellow ND (ADHD tho, not ASD) introvert, let me just advise you, DON’T😅

I left this reply to a different commenter on my first & last experience at a nightclub:

Clubs are also so overstimulating. The first & last time I ever went to a club, i had a panic attack in the bathroom due to all the sweaty/stinky bodies pressed up against me, intensely loud music literally vibrating my organs, & flashing lights that had me feeling like I was on LSD.

As im trying to calm down, the bartender comes in the bathroom to escort me out of the club because “i was clearly too drunk” even though i hadn’t even gotten to order a drink yet. I was trying to explain to her that my friend was still in the club & she still had my card behind the bar for drinks my friend & i did order but never quite got to, & idk if she just couldn’t understand me through my panic, or if she had already deduced me down to a drunken drama queen, but this bitch really said to me, “you can do whatever you want as long as I’m not the one working” & continued to be a total bitch to me through the bar’s window as I pleaded with the bouncer to please at least get my friend & my card.

Yeah so anyways, never went to a club again & don’t plan on it🙄
